Started as a quick bathroom stop, but ended up spending more time in the small historical museum and visitor center. A great selection of brochures on the local area. There is a small gift shop that had a great selection of maps for sell to those interested in getting into the backcountry or needing info on the ATV trail system.

Stop here, stretch your legs, and visit the little museum. Very interesting displays from the history of the area. Great little gist shop, too.

On highway 95 between Blanding and Hanksville, there are a number of Ancient Pueblo habitation sites. Butler Wash just off Highway 95 is one of the most important and one of the easiest to get to. Turn right at the sign of Wash and pull into the parking lot. From there it's about a 2/3 of a mile hike through... More

This is one of the best visitor center I have seen in the area. There is a little display, very knowledgeable and helpful staff, free wi fi and a little park well kept with many picnic tables. Highly recommended for info and a stop for picnic.

Most visitor centers fail to hold the visitor's attention more than a minute or two. This facility is so interesting that you'll want to stop in every time you pass through town. They have extremely interesting displays and the place in immaculate. There is even a playground for the kids behind the center. Plus you can also access WiFi here.

Stopped here and the host told us where we could go with our dog and camp and what we to see easily with a dog along. She made our trip! Beautiful area, as good as I've seen.
