Friendly people, excellent historical museum

Lots of travelers info, film on surrounding areas to see . Especially enjoyed meeting the man who seems to run it, his family in area since 1905 when Blanding was founded.

Beautiful little center, friendly staff, good information on local surroundings. Clean bathrooms, great info, and better directions and maps offered for free than the Cedar Mesa Museum staff.

GREAT, helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, staff. Nice selection of good quality (not tourist kitch!) gift store items. Clean restrooms, nice accompanying park, computer/internet room, nice FREE museum that's a quick view. Incredible collection of Blanding and resident history. Great source of local information, tips, and little-known highlights. Even a multi-port electric vehicle charging station!

I can't remember her name but she did an outstanding job of giving us information and directions to the different places to visit while there.

The gentleman at the desk, Howard, was extremely helpful and full of information about sights in the area. There is a small museum in the center that has lovingly assembled artifacts on the history of the families who settled there. Howard is a direct descendant of those early settlers and could trace his family line back hundreds of years.

The desk clerk was very helpful on local activity suggestions as the weather was quite cold with a lot of rain and some snow.

The visitor center was not busy and therefore a ranger helped us plan our trip. It is a very small visitor center in the middle of absolutely nowhere. The bathrooms were clean.

Thank You. Thank You. Thank You. To the gentleman who was working in the Blanding Visitor Center around noon yesterday (Thursday, April 9). My husband and I were driving north towards Moab and stopped for a picnic lunch and some information. This gentleman provided us with tips for a couple of extra excursions that we would otherwise have missed. Firstly,... More

The host was very helpful and made some great recommendations for us. He gave us brochures and even gave me a free tootsie roll pop. The restrooms were very clean. There were some interesting exhibits in the visitors center. There were tesla charging stations out in front, which was quite surprising for Blanding, Utah. There was a very nice picnic... More
