We arrived at the visitor center 5 minutes after it closed. The gentleman inside saw us, unlocked the door and invited us in. He was sincerely pleased to help us with our questions and recommend things to do while traveling north through central Utah.

This lovely lodge-style building has a visitor's center and a museum as well as bathrooms. There are also several hotels and food options nearby so it's worth a stop.

Great srop! Best information center. Helpful and courteous staff. If you are traveling through southeastern Utah, you should stop by.

To be honest, it didn't occur to me to review a visitor's center, which is a shortcoming on my part. I guess I take such places for granted, and that's too bad. In any case, if you're coming to this part of Utah it is imperative that you stop here. The center isn't large, but it's packed with information and... More

We made about a 30 minute stop driving through Monument Valley to Moab. The same wonderful host that day was Mr Lyman as was in July 2010 when I stopped in going the reverse on this route. The place has historical exhibits of the area as well as a beautiful huge petrified wood specimen. Sales consist of books, maps, the... More

I drove into Blanding on a Saturday evening and found the visitor centre to be excellent, just as the many other postings have said. But I must reiterate what a previous poster said about the town itself, which became very handy for me. Blanding does not have many restaurants at all, especially in the evening and Yak's (the breakfast place)... More

This is among the best visitor centers in the country. The volunteer ladies at the register are knowledgeable, passionate, helpful, accommodating and super generous with their time. Free WiFi, complimentary computer use, lollipops for the travelers, free maps, brochures, info. Oh, and impeccably maintained restrooms. I was so happy to see that the Visitor Center even has TESLA charging stations... More

Travels should stop here for a clean rest stop and more importantly a great and friendly place to obtain information. During our many visits to Utah, we ALWAYS stop here. We are always warmly greeted and there is much information available with so many great attractions nearby to visit. This is my first Visitor Center I have reviewed and only... More

Nice visitor center with plenty of parking for any size unit. Found flyers on all sightseeing area's in the area. Picked up maps to all our destinations and found new ones we hadn't seen before. Very friendly people that work there. A must do to plan a great vacation in the area!
