Inexpensive for the entire family to enter, the kids had a blast looking at all the dinosaurs. The sweet old lady at the front desk was just darling. One of the things I loved was that the gift shop wasn't filled with a bunch of REALLY expensive items....there were little trinkets that my 5 year old could buy with all... More

We found this place by accident; we took a detour to Blanding to clean all the Utah mud from our wheels and grabbed some food whilst we were there. On the way out, we spotted the sign and thought we should pop in... and we are glad we did. The dinosaurs are amazing and there's so many of them... big... More

This is a surprisingly good museum that is locally funded. The displays and accompanying descriptions are excellent. There are a number of displays relative to when or where in the tree of life reptiles and birds branched off from the dinosaur tree. This is a fairly large museum and worth a couple of hours. It is on a side street... More

We stopped in to The Dinosaur Museum to let the kiddos exert some energy during a long road trip. PERFECT! The exhibits are very life like (actually scared my little one (3) just a bit). Friendly, personable staff and not stuffy and crowded. Highly recommend!

Just the right size. The dinosaurs and dinosaur parts on display are set up in interesting ways. A good place to take youngsters as it has plenty of space for them to wiggle and giggle. Information is concise and easily understandable.

It was very interesting but everything was scattered around in odd rooms and hallways with no real "flow" making it hard to enjoy what you are seeing. I found myself ignoring a lot of things and being more worried about what room or hallway I'm supposed to go to next. The pieces are very interesting and educational, I did learn... More

Doesn't look much from the outside. Once you pay your $3.50 (too cheap!) to get in there are a lot of great displays and information cards about the evolution of dinosaurs and their place in our imaginations from their depiction in movies. The movie section was particularly interesting with a great collection of posters from 20th century monster movies. Great... More

I've been exploring the Blanding area for twenty years and I stopped in to this museum for the first time in May of 2015. It was raining heavily and extensively enough to cancel plans A, B, and C. When we arrived, a school group was just beginning their tour and we listened to the very knowledgeable tour guide give an... More

This was a very interesting stop over and very educational. I particularly liked how the museum mapped our evolving understanding of dinosaurs and portrayal of them in film and TV.

very much a surprise for a small town. very well done had some dinosaurs I hadn't seen before. Even children as young as six would find it interesting.
