We spent a weekend here in April 2015. We have a 26 ft Sandsport toy hauler with 2 atvs. We ride all year just about every other weekend. We were looking for a place that would let us ride up on the Paria wilderness area just east of House Rock road. The Paria Outpost was a perfect kick off place.... More

Steve took us out for the day to South Coyote Buttes and the White Pocket area, we had obtained a permit for SCB. The drive out to both areas is long and it is a full day. The roads are VERY rough, I can't imagine attempting this even with. Four wheel drive let alone without. The area is beautiful and... More

Highly recommended. Our day with Paria Outfitters was superb. The breathtaking vistas and otherworldly natural beauty of White Pocket will stay with us forever. Susan is knowledgeable and also great fun. The trip was very well run; they are safety conscious; they have several experienced guides and well maintained vehicles that can handle the terrain. Unlike some other outfitters, they... More

They provide tours to several of the amazing rock scenery in the area. We asked them to put together a tour to "White Pocket" late in the day and staying for sunset. This is a two hour drive over rough rutted dirt/sand roads and not easy to navigate in the dark. Mike, our guide, did an outstanding job. He is... More

We went in the spring (March) and I think that spring or fall would be the best to avoid super hot temps and see more natural pools in the rocks. The guides were very accommodating and knowledgeable and during a slow day, they let us take our dog. We would have missed this trip if the dog could not join... More

Had a full day excursion to the South Coyote Buttes and a full-day equivalent sunset tour to the White Pocket. These were highlights of my week in the Az/Ut border area. They navigate the difficult road conditions to access these places and guide you to amazing scenery in these trail-less wilderness areas. I hope to return someday and do additional... More

We have taken full day excursions with Paria Outfitters for the past two years. All of the guides are long term residents with great knowledge of local history as well as the geology and natural history of the area. They have explored so much of the plateau that they can take visitors places the other outfits haven't yet discovered. The... More

We hired Paria Outfitters after reading some reviews on TripAdvisor and considering cost etc. vs the likelihood of finding these places on our own our rental vehichle. We had email contact a few times leading up to the trip and it was odd that they didn't require a deposit. They had the attitude that if the trip conditions were going... More

I hired Paria Outpost for a trip to White Pocket and also another trip to the Wave. This was the highlight of my 2 weeks in Southwestern Utah. Brent was my guide and he took me to places and viewpoints that I only dreamed existed. I would never have found some of these places had I not hired a guide.... More

We spent three terrific days with Steve, Susan and their team seeing the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. We'll be back for more next Spring! We had permits for North Coyote Buttes (The Wave) and South Coyote and had amazing tours of both. The third day, Steve took us to some less traveled but AWESOME places in the GSENM. North... More
