Steve and Susan were great to work with in getting the trip set-up. They sent us out early due to the hot weather with Mike Leinen as our guide. The suburban was comfortable and well equipped. Mike's confident and smooth driving kept us feeling safe and took away all anxieties of a long trip through deep sand in hot temperatures.... More

I've been to this part of Utah on many occasions and have taken a few organised tours, but I have to say that the Paria Outpost tour run by the Dodsons (Steve and Susan) was truly exceptional. I had a permit for South Coyote Buttes reserved online a few months in advance, and booking with Paria Outpost was easy and... More

We booked a trip with Paria several months before our trip. There were flexible with helping if we had permits to Coyote Buttes North (WAVE) or South, or neither. We ended up getting permits to both and had to split our group. 2 went to the WAVE and we were told that we could figure out how to get there... More

We finished our day in South Coyote Buttes with the most amazing photos ever! Four hundred of them... and we are not professional photographers, but you can't go wrong in South Coyote Buttes. We are well into a six week drive through the southwest visiting National Parks and experiencing the beauty this region has to offer. And we have seen... More

well, you've read most of the others and hear good things. I agree. 175.00 per person, just two of us and our guide (Dallas) and a trusty old Suburban 4 wheel drive. White Pocket was the destination, over 1.5 hours of bumpy dirt road. A great sack lunch was provided. We, like most, tried the WAVE lottery but get White... More

We tried for the Wave lottery and did not get a permit. I then called Paria Outpost and Susan told me that there was a second lottery for the South Coyote Buttes. I didn't know about it and the people at the Visitor's center didn't say anything about it. We went back and applied for that but didn't get a... More

This was our third tour with Paria Outpost. Last year they took us into Coyote Buttes South and another location. Brent was our guide for the South last year and he was our guide this year for the Wave. It was like reconnecting with an old friend. Due to the tragedies in the Wave in 2014, there was no way... We went on a tour with Steve, to visit Coyotte Butte South and White Pocket and we had a great day. All the things we saw were just amazing, like from another planet and we enjoyed it very much. Steve is a very nice guy, he gave us all the time we needed to enjoy the places and to take... More

We had a lot of fun touring South Coyote Buttes with Steve. Since I don't usually hike much especially in so much heat, I had some difficulty hiking but he patiently took us to gorgeous places. While driving we had fun talking with each other. We will definitely see you again for more tours in the near future. I will... More

We went with Paria Outfitters on a full day tour to White Pocket in the Vermillion Cliffs National Monument. White Pocket is a spectacularly beautiful but remote part of the Monument. Mike Leinen, who spent his career as a professional wildlife photographer, was our guide. The drive to White Pocket took the better part of two hours over dirt roads,... More
