Running around the area and decided to check out the Springs with the family. The camping areas are primitive with water every so many site. There are running water restrooms in the center of the park. The sites are nice and I can see why so many people love to camp there. The river was low so there is not... More

Drove up to Bpykin Springs today to check out if we want to reserve the pavilion sometime soon. To our horror, the spring water that has flowed from "the pipes" was not flowing! We've been going to this park since 1967 and "the pipes" have remained the main attraction. After Hurricane Rita in 2005 the park was really a mess... More

I would love to give this place horrible reviews so the no one would camp here and i could keep it to myself, however i cannot, this is the only place my family and i camp, it has been a long standing tradition, it is a great place to primitive camp ( water hookups only). They have restrooms with hot... More

Great place to stop and stretch your legs after being in the car for several hours. Good place to have a picnic.

First time to come to this park came with a friend/local who made for a great tour guide. Hiking to the old saw mill was a good experience. Cooling off in the spring on a hot August day was nice but be careful of the algae on the rocks slip and falls are possible. Be sure to bring drinks and... More

My family and I enjoy Boykin Springs. The problem is that we all drive from long distances to get there and have to take the chance that there will be group campsites available. Its too risky to have so many people drive such distances and arrive at the camp ground to find that we can't camp together as a family.... More

Needs to upgrade restroom, camping facilities- swimming area was not as fun as it was before. Needs the lake restocked with fish. It was quiet, though!

I absolutely loved this place. We have a drought in our area, so it wasn't as pretty as it will be. There is a small lake to fish and swim in, but I'd think it was too deep for my kids. You can bring your RV as long as it's 24 ft or under, as well as tent camping. Has... More
