The Olive Oil and olives were yummy and priced well. Adorable couple and farm for olive growing. Great spot to stop and taste olive oils.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We sampled a lot of items they had for sale. The garlic EVOO is wonderful. So is the dipping EVOO. Enjoy!

My husband and I visited Bella Vista Ranch one afternoon on our honeymoon. We weren't sure what to expect from an olive oil tasting, but it was fun, informative, and tasty! We came home with tapenade & jam for gifts, and blueberry wine, balsamic vinegar, and a couple different oils for us. Fresh olive oil is much better than store-bought,... More

We had a day trip here as a group when we stayed at the Blair House Inn for the cooking classes. I never realized Texas was such a big part of the olive oil industry and learned a lot of interesting facts about how they grow the olives and extract the oil. We brought along a basket of food we... We visited on April 11, which was a cool, cloudy day. The tour started out with an interesting lecture by the owner on the history of growing olives in Texas and elsewhere in the world. This subject might sound a little dull but the owner made it very amusing as he described his own experiences in getting olive trees to... More

My husband and I visited Bella Vista on a rainy Saturday. We went on the 1PM tour. The tour lasted over an hour, which we didn’t expect given the rain, but we enjoyed the experience. The owner gave the tour and was very knowledgeable. The tour was 90% about the world history of olive oil, why growing olive trees in... More

At 15$ a tour it was okay but the history of the first texan olive oil took up most of the visit. An amusing summary of how they got started and what they actually produce. Not really much to see by way of olive trees etc but there again they are just trees in a field. The refinery it self... More

We visited Bella Vista on a recent trip to the Texas Hill Country. Overall, this was outstanding... Fascinating to learn all about the olive oil business, and taste the product, which is all grown and made onsite at the ranch. Overall, prices were very good given the quality of the product. Highly recommended.

It was a beautiful Valentine's Day in Wimberley for the tour at Bella Vista Ranch. Plan on at least 2-3 hours for the lecture, tour and tastings.
