The falls make a good picnic and easy hike. They look great lit up at night, though I wouldn't view them from the park at that time. Drive down the freeway or stop at the Holiday Inn to get a good view. More

Going to the falls is an ok experience. The best part about going is walking down there. There is a nice bike trail that runs by the Falls. The man made reservoir for the Falls sometimes is cleaned and the Falls are not running on those occasions. More

The falls was built with community donations to replace an earlier falls for which the city was named. It was destroyed in a flood many years ago. The falls faces Interstate 44 and actually flows from a hill on which sits the city's historic cemetery. It is beautifully landscaped and pleasantly serene.
