We were visiting family in Temple, Texas. Waco was a short drive away. While there we visited the Mayborn Museum. Located on the Baylor Campus this museum is a great experience. From the outdoor area with time period structures including houses, a school, and a garage, to the indoor area with history and hands on exhibits, everyone in your group... More

My children loved this museum! The only trouble we had was trying to find empty buildings to explore outside since there was a field trip, but we still managed to see them all. We didn't even get to all idlf the rooms.inside and we had a blast. If we're in the area again, I won't hesitate to bring them back.

Our children range from ages 4-17, and every one of them loved this museum! I highly recommend anyone with children to visit this museum.

We love the traveling exhibits and the permanent museum attractions, as well. They offer free admission on the first Sunday of every month. With a family of 7, you can't beat that!

The museum has a ever changing program from DaVinci weapons and tools to Art, Glass and just for children. I saw the DaVinci display that included his flying wings/man, a rotating turret now used on tanks, among other items that he invented. I would check them out It is a great way to spend anywhere from an hour to 2... More

My three and six year old had an amazing time. This place is huge. Its two stories and each room has a theme. My daughter is three with autism and she really enjoyed the room with the puzzles along with the room with water. The parking was the worst part of the experience. But once we got in, it made... I've taken all four of my kids at different times, and they all had a great time. The zoo in the morning and museum in the afternoon (with some Vitek's in between) makes for a really fun day in Waco.

This place was amazing! It was huge too! We walked the entire place, plus the village, and it took a little over 4 hours. We went with my 7 year old and there was so much for her to do. We will make sure to come back next time we are in town. Plus, college students get in free!

This museum was a lot of fun for my kids 7-11. My friends toddler had a blast also. There is 2 levels and very large rooms for each exhibit. Will return in the future!

Just finished up a 3 hour visit to the museum. After debating to go or not, I was happy that we did. The location is easy to find, but parking was a little difficult especially in the rain. Admission was not bad, and they honored the discount coupons we had. They gave us a map & we were off. The... More
