AWESOME TRACKS!

Informative, hands on displays. Great for teachers and kids. Alot of bariety: sounds, touches, visuals, etc. Free on Sundays.

Disappointingly thin collection of art at this museum -- which was deserted the day we visited -- at wealthy Baylor University. But the campus is interesting and worth a little time.

We went in the Mayborn about an hour before closing and I wish we had gone in much earlier!!! So many exhibits covering so many different areas of knowledge make this a true MUSEUM. Excellent!

Great museum sponsored by Baylor University. Cost is fair and there are many hands-on activities for the kids. They need to pay more attention to some of their hands-on exhibits that have fallen into disrepair.

Took our grandson to the Mayborn and it was even better than expected. You get to actually see the dig and where the dinosaur bones were found. Very informative!

We always have trouble finding a good museum for our little kids (ages 5 and 3), but this one was perfect for them. It had a lot of rooms with different activities for them to do. It also had interesting exhibits for the adults, such as the mammoth site and Waco history. We really enjoyed it and recommend it to... More

We visited on the first Sunday of the month when admission is free, although normally it would have been $10 per person including the exhibit. The exhibit was about pirates and shipwrecks, and we were able to get into a booth to feel wind equal to the strength of a small hurricane. This was the highlight of our visit. There... More

Pricey but has some good exhibits and discovery rooms for the kids. Worth 1 visit. Not sure if we'd do this again.

We go here quite a bit--especially in winter when the weather is too cold to get outside. The kids never get tired of it---the interactive side is fun for adults, too! The kids love the history side of it, too! I would love to go without kids one day just to be able to read all the history and artifacts!

The Mayborn Museum is fun. They have exhibits about the geology of central Texas, the Waco mammoths, indigenous people, early settlers of the McLennan County area, and a few other things. The kids' area on the second level is also fun if you're older and willing to set aside your pride for the sake of fun.
