This facility will not accommodate the ABA Convention, or this like, but this completely updated and enlarged facility is truly "first class" for up to mid-sized events. A marked increase in bookings this past year reflects, not only the excellent facilities, but the increasing draw of nearby Baylor and Downtown Waco area attractions, restaurants, and museums.

Excellent facility with lots of space for vendors and plenty of meeting rooms. Well suited for the event.

I have attended a convention twice here. The convention center is clean and functional. Parking is plenty and free. Hotels and restaurants are within walking distance.

We stayed at The Comfort Suites on North 35. It was convenient to the Convention Center. The Hotel was the BEST!!!!! We were treated with royalty! They seemed happy that we were there. They smiled when we checked in. We are looking forward to our next visit!!

Attended a college graduation there on May 1. Nice facility. Good location on the south side of the river in downtown. They have a front entrance on the west and a back east entrance. There is a large parking lot in the back. Additional parking across the street on the south side.

Pretty place, clean throughout including restrooms. The chairs they provided for the culinary show/competition were padded and comfortable. My only gripe is no parking garage on site in case of bad weather. Well, not my only gripe. Bought 2 sausage/egg sandwiches from their vendor and was like eating sausage & egg between 2 large croutons! (bread very hard/tough). Good location,... More

Our brand new convention center is a lovely place to gather. Lots of restrooms and meeting areas. Centrally located downtown by the river. Parking isn't usually an issue.

Once a year in January we attend a convention here. The weather is almost always undesirable when we are there. If you stay at either the Hilton or the Marriott Courtyard, you can walk to the convention center and not get too cold or wet. Parking can be a problem if you drive to the convention center each day, at... More

The facility is a great spot for a convention or trade show; however, the chairs in the meeting hall had to be the worst chairs known to mankind. Our sessions lasted all day and in to the evenings and by days end my back was killing me.

Liked the fact that 4 different competitions were going on, 3 with weights, or weight activities. There was plenty of room, pa systems, partitions, and a/c temperature was sufficient. Bathrooms a distance from our events, but enough stalls, and water available.
