We went on a Sunday and admission to the zoo was free. There was a lecture and alligator feeding as well as free hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, cookies provided by the Rotary Club. Great weather, good facility.

small area which makes for a nice outing, the kids don't get tired and hungry before your done. I was pleasantly surprised to see a zoo in a small town like Victoria.

We did the primate encounter. It was on groupon so it wasn't so expensive. We had a blast. 2 kids ages 3 and 2 and Colton was our zoo rep. He's fantastic and I would ask for him if you go. He was amazing with our kids and made sure everyone had a great time. The zoo is small but... More

I like that the zoo is small and you don't have to worry about losing your children. The staff is helpful and friendly and they give informative lessons on some of their animals.

We did the primate exhibit that we found on groupon. It was worth it!! So much fun to play and learn about the monkeys. Everyone who worked at the zoo was so nice!

It was ok. Very small. A lot of room for improvement.snack bar was closed ,it was very hot. Mister and fans were not working in sitting area. It's sad that the city of Victoria does not step in and make improvements ,and not let this neat place rot.. I'm in Corpus Christi and would much rather make a day trip... More

I'll admit I have mixed feelings about zoos in the 21st century and have visited some of the best ones around but now wonder if they are the right way to teach about animals. This zoo is very small and from the history at their website I learned that it came about when someone gave a lion to the mayor... More

Pretty small zoo but the kids always love this type of attraction, they loved the snakes and tornado experience. If you are in Victoria with young kids worth the visit .

A relatively small zoo but was a lot of fun for the whole family. Especially getting to feed some of the animals.

I had previously saw this little zoo and last year it was small, but still neat. This past year we went for Earth Day and I was really disappointed. They are building on to it and adding things, but none of those things are animals. -They took out the petting zoo *which was fun for little guys) and added in... More
