The lodge is very very nice and very affordable but the main reason is the owner Kim. She is the jewel of the whole place and of our whole trip!! Customer... More

This part of Texas is beautiful, so why not take a quick trip through Utopia? The name alone is worth a picture or two. This quiet little town is so serene and tranquil. There's not much to actually DO in Utopia, but so what? Sometimes it's nice to just go visit someplace just to see it. It's just a sleepy... More

Nice little park with picnic area & swimming in river. Good eats at Lost Maples Cafe, quaint little grocery with a deli/meat for reasonable prices. Check out the back roads. We encountered peacocks, deer, horses & a number of other animals in pens/pastures & even wandering around in yards & the road. Camping/hiking/swimming at nearby Garner State Park & Lost... More

Good food, good service, friendly staff, do not believe other picky reviews. Couldn't ask for better. Try the buttermilk pie!

This little town offers a unique golfing experience (Golf Utopia) that we first saw in the movie filmed there. There are 2-3 good restaurants, a great B&B, a nice antique shop and a decent general store. In each and every place we visited, we were welcomed by the friendliest and most helpful people. This is a perfect location from which... More

Love to visit this place, visit the museum, and go to other places there. It is a beautiful little town and great people that I accidentally found that I was indirectly related to. Everyone needs to experience Utopia. Robert duval made a fil there and of course the places were easily identified in the movie. Will be back very soon.
