We signed up for the 10am adventure. There weren't enough on our tour to justify taking the steamboat, so we took the pontoon, which was fine with us! Our Captain/tour guide was Byron and his dog, Pinky :) Byron was a character and seemed to know everything there is to know about Caddo Lake. As we ventured into the canal/bayou,... More

We were just here for Labor Day weekend 2014. While we brought our own wave runners and pontoon boat we really wanted to ride the steam boat too. Glad we did too, all 5 of us! Capt Ron is a funny guy and knows the history and lots and lots about the lake too. We took some seats on the... More

Between all the truly funny upper deck banter (it’s like a stand-up comedy history lesson), you might get a little touched by the beauty of riding this majestic boat past this unique landscape. The redneck jokes never get old, and the boat really does feel like a ghost ship. We’d go again just to support the vision of this salty... More

This boat ride was ok. I thought we would actually be going onto Caddo Lake, but it's just a short trip down a canal. I would recommend if maybe it was only $10 per person, but not worth the $20 a person. Way too overpriced for a mediocre boat ride and the continuous loud honking got old real quick. My... More

Decided to take my husband on a daytrip today . We went to Uncertain to explore .Found great food and a lazy river boat with Captain Ron .Lots of history , great humor , and few untruths about bigfoot and rednecks. All in fun. Next time i want an evening swamp tour. The eat at Pine Lodge buffet or River... More

Captain Ron said, "I'm an equal opportunity offender!" Feel free to stay on board as long as you can take a joke! He's fun and entertaining! Laugh, have a good time, relax, on this hour long informative ride down Caddo lake. Well worth the cost! Then, afterwards, go see his gardens and his alligators! Very cool!!!

We went on a steam boat on a little hot day. There are two decks on the boat , on the first the coal is burning and leaves heat around making uncomfortable. On the upper deck the tour guide keeps on honking which blows away your ears. The boat looks hundreds of years old. The tour guide thinks he is... More

On 5/24/14 we took the cruise on the Graceful Ghost Steamboat. The area is beautiful, but the beauty was seriously disturbed by the commentary of the tour director, who we think is the owner and who thinks he is a comedian. He told racist and sexist jokes, and we were especially offended by his totally inappropriate and rude comments about... More

Wow! Yesterday our family went out on the pontoon boat with guide, Byron, to check out Caddo lake. Equal to the beauty of the environment, was our guide's knowledge of the land, lake, wildlife, cypress trees, and local history. Thank you for a memorable adventure!
