Great zoo for a little town. Lots of room and a wide variety of animals. Really like the roaming areas for some of the larger animals.

This stunning small zoo is remarkable for the beauty of its grounds and the ease of seeing all the exhibits. It's laid out so you don't miss anything. The white tigers will take your breath away! One bit of caution...there are a lot of fairly steep grades in this zoo, so if you are mobility impaired, you might find it... More

This was a really nice zoo. The animals all looked healthy and happy. It was more on the small size but I really did enjoy my day when I went.

I was very surprised by this zoo. It's very small compared to other zoos I have been to but it was very nice and well organized. I love the fact everything is in one big circle so it's almost impossible to get lost. The animals seemed to be well taken care of but most of them were sleeping when I... More

Spent 2 hours here just walking and observing the animals. It has nice landscaping and the animal exhibits dipslay the animals where you can really see them up close. This is one of the cleanest zoos with great staff.

This zoo is set up well and has lush landscaping. As you enter you are greeted by Macaws. We love watching the elephants and zebras. Be sure to feed the birds by purchasing a popsicle stick with birdseed. Bring a camera! You can get some awesome photos there. One of my favorite memories growing up was getting snow cones there.... the grounds are done nicely, however, during the season we went there were not many animals available and it was chilly. Did enjoy what we were able to explore. Great for kids, must say which they had a larger space for the tiny food mart they offered/people were spilling drinks left and right...

This was probably one of the best zoo visits I've had. I've been to a few (Denver, Florida, San Diego, Germany, etc). With others it seems to always be a problem seeing some animals even in small pens. Then like San Diego it was just various deer from around the world, monkeys and birds. The Caldwell Zoo has a nice... More

My wife grew up going to the Caldwell zoo as a kid, so it was a treat for me to finally visit and bring our two year old daughter. We drove 2 hours from Queen City, and the Caldwell Zoo exceeded my expectations. Being from Omaha, I'm spoiled with the amazing Henry Doorly Zoo, but the Caldwell Zoo is definitely... More
