My wife and I celebrated our 35th anniversary and wanted someplace inexpensive and relaxing. Tyler's Rose Garden met the bill. It's free, you just can't get much less expensive than that. Even with most of the roses cut back for next month's Rose Festival it was beautiful. There were roses, not as many as there will be in October, but... More

According the brochure there are over 30,000 roses here representing ~500 varieties. I am going to trust the brochure on that one ‘cause all I know is that it’s a bunch or roses. More than I’ve ever seen in one place by far. Mostly well kept, with a few weeds in the rose beds (but with a garden that big... More

There wasn't anything I disliked. The roses weren't all in bloom but the ones that were had a beautiful scent and color. The walking paths were paved and there were places to sit along the way if needed.

Visited the gardens with my wife and we enjoyed the shade garden, water fountains, short trails and gazebo which was all free. Roses are probably better in the spring and not in August.

Really enjoyed our walk around the rose garden. There was no cost involved at all. The roses are beautiful and smell delicious. I was told by a local that the best time to come would be in October. I think I would make the trip then to see the roses in full bloom - I don't think roses are at... More

Nice rose garden. Well maintained. We were on vacation the last week of July so it wasn't "in season." You can walk into the building for air conditioning to cool off if necessary. Quite large and most plants have markers if you don't know what they are. Teenager was BORED - I was FINE!

Loved the layout of the garden but we really need to go back when everything is in bloom - I'm ready to see all the colours - still a nice place to walk around and enjoy

Nice Place to walk around and take pictures and watch the gardeners garden. Also inside they had the history of the Rose Garden Parade. I would definitely pay the couple dollars that it was.

The rise garden and the master gardeners' idea garden are must stops for people who live plants and beauty. I have been many times and have lived the peace and tranquility of the gardens. If you love Japanese Maples and Camellias you will also find beautiful displays. Highly recommended :)

A great place to enjoy nature and flowers and taking pictures. I would recommend it more for adults, although I think there is a playground nearby.
