I stopped by with very limited time. The day I went the sky was overcast and it was a bit chilly for May. It was drizzling a bit, but it was serene and peaceful. I actually stayed longer than planned. It's free to see the gardens but the center closes at 4:30. The museum is $3.50. If you like roses... More

I visit this rose garden every year, and each time see something a little different. The peace and serenity are always exactly the same though! A Plus is that it's FREE to just wander around the gardens. Small fee to tour through the little museum, and worth it to do that too. I recommend this to all ages...children love it... More

Our girls' trip was peaceful and beautiful. Perfect place for a picnic. We went in the middle of the week so we had the place just about to ourselves.

In late April we visited one of the largest rose gardens in our nation, and one that is world-renowned for its parade and pagentry. There are several other types of gardens on the premises as well, with fountains and a small meandering stream. And inside the pavillion is a lovely small museum depicting some of the gowns and tiarras of... More

If you love roses and other flowers, this is the place for you. It is easy to find and has plenty of free parking once you get there. It is located next to the Fire Grounds. It is the rose capital of the world. Hundreds of different kinds and colors of roses. The rose museum is a must see. In... More

a large variety of roses in a very pretty setting right by the convention center. While there do not miss the rose festival museum with elaborate costumes from the famed rose festival. For only 3:50 you can view a charming video and a display of amazing costumes on mannequins, they are amazing, camera allowed, a real fantasy experience.

A few of the roses had lost their blooms from a late freeze, but a truly lovely place. We spent about 2.5 hours there and that seemed... More

I loved all the roses! It's a great place to visit in the fall and spring, but summer is not a good time to go. It's way too hot!,

This garden is just beautiful. The perfect backdrop for pictures! Don't miss it when visiting Tyler or if you find yourself with nothing to do on a weekend!
