We went on July 4th. Very pretty property. We want to come back when the roses are in full bloom. A few were during our visit. Overall glad we came to see this.

This is a great place to take your significant other and enjoy a casual stroll among the very well manicured gardens. Going in April you won't find many of the roses in bloom, but the ones that had, were beautiful. It was quiet, shaded in many places by huge trees, and had several benches and gazebos in which to sit... More

Tyler Rose Gardens is a local favorite for wedding and engagement photos. It's also a fairly popular venue for weddings. A lovely relaxing park for a mid-day walk. Cool paved paths, shade trees, gazebos... A quiet spot to just relax. The roses are amazing, there are thousands of them in all the colors of the rainbow.

The flowers & plants are beautiful. A good place to take pictures. Not fun for kids/teens. Adults seem to enjoy more. Added bonus visiting this location is free for everyone.

I was there just a few days ago- there were some roses that were in full bloom but most had were a bit past their prime. I really want to go back and see them when they're at their peak. It's a huge property and you could probably while away a number of hours there, especially if you're in to... More

Just got back from seeing the rose gardens and the property is beautiful. It is bigger than I remembered it being. Very nice layout.Nice to walk around. Some of the roses were blooming and others not.But I didnt expect them all to be.As others have said someone needs to be maintaining the grounds better..Trimming dead roses off, weeding beds,etc.. Overall it was still... More

The fall is a great time to visit to really see the roses at their best. Tyler is know for it's roses, and you can't believe the varieties there are at the gardens. It is a great place for family photographs, or discovering new varieties for your own garden. Plan at least an hour to tour the entire gardens,

The Tyler Rose Garden is beautiful especially when the roses are in full splendor. We were there just after the peak season. Yes, there were some dead roses, but having said that, there weren't that many. We also saw the drained pond with the pvc pipe. Hasn't anyone heard of maintenance? I don't say that about the pond, I say... More

I realize that it was a little past rose season, but they should have at least pruned the bushes. The majority of the rose bushes had dead roses on them and there was a huge man-made pond that had been drained exposing a big PVC pipe along the bottom. Otherwise it was a nice space to take a stroll in.... More

Im hoping it was just an off day, (it was a Wednesday but maybe this was the norm??) I've never been. Due to my new found hobby of planting a flower garden I wanted to drive the 2 hours to see it. I brought my neighbor (who is practically a horticulturist) from Dallas to visit the Rose Garden. To our... More
