If you like roses this is the place. More roses than you can shake a stick at. I went with my GF and found it to be a great little get away. Don't just go for the roses though, they have fountains and streams and a butterfly garden. I truly am glad I went and plan on returning.

The Rose Garden wasn't worth the walk. I raised this up to average because of the display of past Rose Queen gowns on display. They were worth looking at.

The garden was big, and had rows, and rows of roses, and also other flowers, and plants. The gazebo was a perfect place to relax, but we moved to an open bench to smell the fragrant flowers. We even went back the next day, to visit the garden to smell the roses again.

I have been to the garden recently, it is still beautiful as the first time I saw it. What an added plus to see some of the gardens. I really can't believe the history and the Rose Queen museum, I do mean fabulous gowns!

Webster defines one sense of Rendezvous as a "noun : a place where many people go to spend time". Whether a date, casual afternoon, or alone, the Tyler Rose Garden is a great place to enjoy the outdoors, learn about rose horticulture, see the latest varieties, find the perfect species for your garden, or just be in awe of the... I was in town for the American Rose Soceity rose show and convention so naturally spent a lot of time at the Garden. Very few roses were in bloom because of the weather, but got to enjoy the colorful festival. The Queen's tea was fun with lots of fancy costumes and certainly lots of people. I have been to the... Great garden, well kept but the blooming season has come and good. The yearly Rose Festival starts on 10-16 and National Rose Society Convention on the 17th. Bad timing this year. Rose Museum is outstanding. Worth a trip to see the lovely garden anyway.

If you like roses, then you need to visit the Tyler Rose Garden on the west side of Tyler. Tyler calls itself the Rose Capital of the World and there have always been huge fields of roses outside Tyler, particularly on the north side towards the Interstate. The Tyler Rose Garden is a great place to just walk around and... More

It was a little late in the season for the roses. The Garden was beautiful though. Would be so pretty when all the roses are in full bloom

Considering Tyler's size, these are pretty special grounds. When we were there, the roses were pretty sad. It didn't matter though, as the grounds as a whole are still worth your time. Many fountains, pathways and other plants make for a pleasant hour or so. They also had a room the women loved. It was full of $75,000 gowns worn... More
