It was gorgeous. Perhaps things would be even better in October (during the rose festival), but I loved that we had the park almost entirely to ourselves. It was a peaceful, calm place. A few of the roses had lost their blooms from a late freeze, but a truly lovely place. We spent about 2.5 hours there and that seemed... More

Good place to stroll among beautiful flowers, well maintained, many varieties of roses. A wedding was held while we were there on a Saturday (thye got rained on).

I loved all the roses! It's a great place to visit in the fall and spring, but summer is not a good time to go. It's way too hot!,

This garden is just beautiful. The perfect backdrop for pictures! Don't miss it when visiting Tyler or if you find yourself with nothing to do on a weekend!

It was lovely to spend a few hours walking through this park. I love roses, but can't grow them. Many were in bloom (Mid-April) and well marked. Though I wish that there were more signs identifying the specific rose variety. The Idea garden was especially beautiful. We did walk through the museum, which (at $3.50/person) was reasonably priced. It was... More

Even visiting in early April this garden was worth stopping to see. I can only imagine how beautiful it must be when the roses are in bloom. As it was there were a lot of flowers blooming and the landscaping was gorgeous. Completely recommend stopping here to appreciate how much work has gone into making this area beautiful!

We visited at the end of March so the roses were still in hibernation from the unusually cold winter. However, the azaleas and camelias were in full bloom. We visited the small museum and gift shop too. Great friendly staff.

If the roses are not blooming, go see all the Coronation dresses. Listen to the history of the Tyler Rose Festival.

We have been to Tyler many times but this was our first time to visit the museum. It is a very unique place showing all things rose! The highlight of the museum for me was seeing all of the beautiful gowns worn by the rose queens, and photographs of them in their gowns. The dresses were amazing, beaded and sequined... More
