Few blooms in Jan, but loved the walk!

January is not the time to expect blooms but it was a beautiful day and the walk thru the gardens was a perfect time to relax with my Honey! Will plan a trip in April for sure!!!

The place is absolutely beautiful!! It was peaceful and relaxing to walk around after a long day of work. I cannot wait to visit in the spring months.

My family has had 3 beautiful weddings at the Rose Garden and yes they are still married. Nice place to have huge events like parties or birth day parties, to weddings . The best time is right after spring so that all the roses come out in full blume. It's a great place to do a photo shoot. Always clean... More

We visited January 4. The gift shop and the museum are closed on Monday, and the receptionist told us this definitely was NOT rose season, but we were more than welcome to tour the gardens. Well, we spent three hours!!!! We can only imagine what this place must look like in true rose season. A very peaceful and relaxing afternoon.

Tylers Rose Garden is the most BEAUTIFUL peaceful garden to visit. The grounds are so well taken care of...the amount of roses will simply astound.

The garden is extremely well kept with, f course, beautiful flowers. However, more than anything, the varying colors of trees was beautiful and mad for wonderful photo ops. And it's free!

The Tyler Rose Garden is the largest municipal rose garden in the USA. The number of rose bushes is in the thousands. It's amazing how many varieties and colors of roses there are. I visited in the latter part of November, and it was a nice, sunny day, with many of the roses in bloom. The grounds are divided into... More

You are probably wondering why anyone would want to visit the Tyler Municipal Rose Garden when the over 38,000 rose bushes are NOT in bloom and the Tyler Rose Festival is over for the year. Because I had heard that there is a Tyler Rose Museum on site which celebrates the 14 acre Tyler Municipal Rose Garden, the Tyler Rose... More

It is better to go, in my opinion, when the Rose Festival is going on in the Spring time. Then there is the Rose parade, Queen's tea and brunch (the later two are not free). The gift shop has the best smelling rose soap! Great for gifts. The grounds are beautiful when the roses are in bloom and make a... More

Couldn't believe they have so much variety of beautiful roses. I guess this where you go if you want to pick a nice set of rose bushes
