Beautiful place, friendly staff, nice gift shop which was a bit overpriced. The park itself was lovely even thought it was August and not much was in bloom, I hope to come back in April or May when the flowers are truly in bloom. We hope that will be possible as we hope to relocate to the Tyler area.

Roses not taken care of, weeds all over the place, 20 % of roses were dead. Other parts of the gardens were great. Check out the IDEA garden!

It was the wrong time of year for the gardens. They were all burned up and didn't look very attractive at all. We also toured museum and were not impressed. It was all about the Rose Festival. It was free so you might want to give it a try. It's very short

We visited at the end of June, most all of the roses were gone. Not to much to see with the blooms haven fallen off. My opinion they need to upgrade with a few other plants or varieties that will last a little longer in the Texas heat.

The roses were burned up and was expected but the state of beds (weeds) and dead roses was a turn-off.

What a jewel in the heart of Tyler. I took my family there and they were amazed with the Park and the Rose Museum.

Tylerites like to call our city the Rose Capital of the World and there's no better showplace than the Tyler Rose Garden, which is carefully tended the year round, even when roses typically aren't blooming. The center knows how to accentuate the off months with appropriate seasonal floral offerings. For visitors, the Tyler Rose Garden--beautiful that it is--is a must... More

This site is very close to the zoo but, it would be hard to do both in one day. The zoo requires several hours a lots of walking. This place requires the same. Check out this place if you are in Tyler. Tyler roses are smaller than regular ones and I like them better.
