Hands On Fun for Kids

My grandsons, ages 4 & 7, enjoyed the Discovery Science Place. It was hands on and they were able to manipulate the exhibits. They liked the cave the best. We will go again.

Took 9 boys age 7-13 over to Tyler last week and they loved the place! We stayed 3 hours and had to force them to leave!

I was pleasantly surprised that the discovery science place was enjoyment for the entire family. I was just as intrigued as my husband and children. And the developers have made learning so much fun for the whole family.

Nice place to beat the hot Texas heat. My children enjoyed it. We spent about 2 hours which was about the right amount of time. The role play exhibits were not the best.

I don't even know where to begin with this one.. First of all as we were walking in, a small child ran out of the opened doors and into the highway as I chased after him and brought him back in the staff was just sitting on their butts staring into space acting as if nothing happened, there was no... We visited while on vacation. Not too large, not to small but just enough to spend half a day with small children. Will visit again next time we're in town.

My 8 year old and 2 year old sons had a blast here. My 10 year old had fun too, but got bored a little bit easier. This is not a place for older children, probably children older than 10 would have little to do. But my husband and I had fun playing with some of the exhibits and watching... More

I have been to some fantastic children's museums and from the outside, this one looked like it would be too. But for the price, we will go somewhere else next time. We went over Spring Break. It had been raining and we needed something to do. It was not overly crowded. There are two rooms and a theater. No theater... More

I had fun, but my teens were bored. This is definitely geared more toward younger kids. I had lots of fun, tho, trying to get my kids to take pictures. There wasn't a lot of interactive exhibits, but the ones they had were fun. Not bad for the price, but a definite one time visit. No return trips planned.
