Just returned from trip with Rhodes Scholars to Big Bend National Park. We stayed and was provided with guides from Far Flung Outdoor Center. We had a blast on our jeep tour with Chris from the Far Flung crew. Some of the best scenery ever! They provide food during the tour, which was awesome. Road the jeep, loved the tour, bought the T-shirt (wear mine every day :). More

This is the place to go to to be enabled to see the entire Big Bend area (jeep tours, rafting, ATV'ing, etc.). The owners are very first class people, as well as their staff , and the guides they assign for your several different excursions that you can choose are people that you feel comfortable with putting your life in... We enjoyed the canoe trip to Santa Elena canyon a lot. The guides were very friendly - and helpful when our canoe tipped over! The whole-day trip consisted of driving to the staging location from Terlingua in their van, paddling upstream for a couple of hours, stopping for an enjoyable lunch (they provided bread, meat, and lettuce/tomatoes/etc for sandwiches), then... “ATV rides”

Chris, the guide, did a great job going over the ATVs, and safety precautions prior to the ride. We went out in the Christmas Mountains and had a three hour ride that was both relaxing and exciting. Great job, highly recommended. More

We enjoyed our trip with Far Flung to Santa Elena Canyon. We had been warned that the river was low and that we would have to get our feet wet. The trade-off was stunning 1500 ft. cliff walls. It is a long drive out to Terlingua (Big Bend), but it is absolutely worth it. The canyons, the river, the scenery are truly a Texas treasure.
