Thank you “John” our guide, for being so good at what you do! We loved your stories, your taking care of us, on the river and off. We scraped bottom, more than I am accustomed to on river canoe trips, but, of course that is a function of the time of year (and our societies water usage habits) (shame on... More

Just had a relaxing canoe trip down the river with BBRT they were great. We did half a day ride and they had snacks and the guide was knowledgeable and really nice.

I set up a full-day driving tour of BBNP thru BBRT for my daughter and myself. From the 1st phone call until we were back at our lodgings, the staff took great care of us. 2 other women joined our tour and our guide, John Parker, was careful to solicit everyone's input and sculpted the day around what each of... We had a wonderful time. We took a guided road tour. Our tour guide Andy, who was very personable and extremely informative, was the best to put up with our group of 4 woman. Even helping with our grandmother (who couldn't do much in the way of getting around adequately). His to tour was the best in finding all the... More

We enjoyed a quiet canoe ride on the relativity low Rio Grande. Could hear lovely bird songs, while paddling. We had a couple of technical areas to traverse, but the guides were at the ready. The 2 guides.also, set up a snack for us in the middle of our ride. They picked us up and returned us to the Lajitas... More

This was a good day out. We were expecting to kayak the Santa elena canyon, so were a bit disappointed to be further downstream at the hot springs and rio grande village. It wasn't explained to us at anytime that the water levels were too low for the canyon, if indeed they were. We did have a great day, our... More

We had 17 in our group and the guides were great. We took a canoe trip on March 11, 2015. They picked us up at Lajitas Golf Resort. All we needed to take were water bottles. They provide life jackets, water, drink mixes, & snacks (cookies, oranges, crackers, cheese, etc). It was $261 for our family of 4.

We hit a perfect day for this with cloudless blue skies and no wind. The company has good equipment, dry bags for your gear and very good professional guides that keep a watchful eye on their flock of canoeists. They provided good safety, basic technique, and river information, but the river is placid enough for even people who have never... More

My husband I went there in October, 2013 and got a personal raft trip for a half a day. The guide knew the history of the area, and commented along the way. She let us take turns at the helm of the raft. It's not as easy at it looks. We stopped for lunch on the banks and the setup,... More

We took a full-day river tour through Big Bend River Tours in January 2015. With winter storms preceding our trip, river levels allowed for a choice between canoeing Hot Springs or Santa Elena Canyon. We chose Santa Elena and did not regret it. Our guide, Andy, was fantastic. He shared information about the park and offered advice on certain hikes... More
