And glad we stopped. The wines were excellent. Beautiful setting and very friendly staff! Didn't get a chance to try the bistro but saw several plates coming from there that looked wonderful.

we enjoyed the grape stomp on Labor Day weekend at Becker, and liked most of the wines, but it wasn't our favorite vineyard experience that weekend..we ended up liking the more medium sized wineries more!

Very nice facilities but like ALL Texas wine I have tried for the last couple of years.... There is no comparison to the wines that come from CA. However, their Port is worth a taste as it is light and not syrupy. The rest of the Red's and White's are only good for cooking. They do have a lavender farm... More

There was a grape stomping festival going on while we visited. Very entertaining. Enjoyed the wine tasting and shopping.

We visited two wineries in the Fredericksburg area on Wednesday, and this was our hands-down favorite! The facility was very attractive, it was peaceful and relaxing; we were invited to sit on the patio and eat our picnic lunch. They have snack items for purchase if you didn't bring a picnic lunch. The occasional breeze and ceiling fan were welcome... More

I loved the wine, I love the sitting area, I love the grape stomping option and I love the gift shop lavender cream. A great day spent wine tasting with friends.

While visiting Fredericksburg for a short getaway, my wife and I stopped in at Becker Winery in Stonewall on a Wednesday afternoon. We did a tasting of their latest offerings and visited with the very nice couple working in the tasting room. It was very "uncrowded" on the weekend afternoon, quite unlike the huge crowds they often have on weekends.... More

We stopped on a Saturday and this place was very crowded and we could barely find a place to step up for the wine tasting. The tasting is pricey--you do get to keep the glass though. I really wanted to stop here because I like their wine I buy in the stores. I was disappointed with the tasting and actually... More

I visited Becker Vineyards with my husband on a Saturday to taste some wines and buy a few bottles to take home. They make one of my favorite red blends, Fascination, and we wanted to see what others we may enjoy. The vineyard is easy to find, easy to park, and paying for the tasting was a breeze. However, on... More

We went during the week, via Majesty Tours. Love this place. They have lovely grounds and tasting room. Because they also have lavender fields, I picked up some dreamy lavender soaps. We tasted six wines and brought home several bottles. I liked it so much that I joined their wine club. Great staff. It's not far from downtown Fredericksburg and... More

We are happy to hear you had a wonderful time and enjoyed the lavender products! In late April and early May, our lavender field is ablaze in purple! We also have an annual Lavender Fest which takes place in May. Sincerely, Nichole Bendele Public Relations Coordinator Becker Vineyards More
