Paid $15 per person to taste the wines. Got to keep the souvenir crystal glass so it didn't seem so bad to pay the price. The wines didn't match my palate for the most part. We did have a lot of fun with Henri who told lots of stories and made us feel welcome. We bought a bottle of wine.... More

I spent a recent Saturday taking out-of-town guests to various wineries in the Hill Country. Becker was our first stop. We arrived as soon as it opened at 10am and it was obvious that the staff was still getting things ready for the day. We were still warmly welcomed and told we could do a tasting either inside at the... More

One of my favorite vineyards on the wine tour. We lucked out as not only did we get to taste and enjoy some fantastic wines Becker was also hosting the lavender festival. This place is breathtaking. We enjoyed the chef demonstration and walking around the beautiful grounds. I loved the way the live oak trees framed the buildings.

I loved this place.. from the wines to the grounds.. Best place to visit. The Lavender was beautiful. I went during the Lavender fest so it was crowded but still fun. A MUST SEE when going on a Fredericksburg wine tour.

This area is saturated with vineyards and wine tasting opportunities so it must be difficult to know which one to visit. Our friends took us to Becker Vineyards which is in a quiet rural location in landscaped gardens, not on the main road like some of them are, yet not too far off the beaten track. The charge for the... More

Wine tastings are fabulous don't get me wrong. This is one of the top if not the top produce of Texas wine. Amazing rich reds and a perfect assortment if whites with generous tasting amounts. The great thing they do though are events to give you more than that. They have a lavender farm that adds a lot to the... More

Have visited several wineries in the hill country, and this just may be our favorite. Certainly don't consider ourselves experts, but the Six tastings for $12 seemed pretty reasonable, especially as we were given an extra tasting or two when we found something we didn't care for. Gary, who lead the tour of the winery (free, but give yourself about... More

I looked for a vineyard that had renown wine, good reviews and a nice setting. This one fit the bill and I am so glad we stopped. It was set way back from the main highway. It was a weekday and a little after noon when we arrived. Wish we had more time to do the tour, but we were... More

We stopped by the vineyard on our way out of town for a wine tasting. The wine tasting is $12 for 6 wines (you decide which you want to try) and then you also get to take home the wine glass. Our sommelier was a very nice guy and fun to talk to. The grounds were very pretty and I... More

Beautiful time of year to visit Becker. Very peaceful in April, May before the crowds build for the summer months. Nice place to sample their wines and relax to local music under the trees or their covered patio.
