We stopped in for a tasting, loved every sip so we decided to try the reserve tasting, glad we did. It's pricy and the wine is more than we usually spend, but we bought six bottles. We are from KS, not used to paying tasting fees, but we budgeted for it and it wasn't a surprise. The young man serving... More

I have previously visited this winery at least a dozen times in the last 2 years and loved it. HOWEVER, this time we went (12/20/15) and we went to sit out on the patio which is our favorite spot of the winery. My mother then proceeded to get scolded like a child due to the fact that we took out... More

We were given a free tasting with our booking of a room at the adjacent Rose Hill Manor. I am glad it was free. I would have been disgusted if we had been charged. We did not care for any of the wines we tasted, and certainly we did not buy any. I have noticed than many Texas Hill Country... More

Thank you visiting. Our wines have been awarded many honors including double golds at the San Francisco International Wine Competition and at the Lyon International Wine Competition in France, so I am very sorry to hear that you didn't find any to your taste. More

We like Reds. While this winery had only two to taste, the ambiance and the depth of descriptions of what we tasted convinced us to savor and buy. There is well rounded list of whites, reds, and sweet. We only tasted the Reds and the port and bought one of each. The hostess was very informative and a great representative... More

Pedernales has definitely gotten popular over the years and it shows. Their tasting room is total chaos and your server won't spend two seconds on you once he or she determines that you're not joining the wine club. I'm not asking them to stay small, but I've been to Napa and have seen how other wineries handling busy Saturday tastings... More

Thank you for visiting. We strive to keep service levels high even when it is crowded in the tasting room on Saturdays, so I am very sorry to hear that your experience was not better. I will make sure the tasting room manager sees your review. More

This is one of the 15 wineries on Wine Road 290. We had the chance to sample many wines that weekend, with this being one of our favorites. The grounds are lovely. The staff friendly and courteous. And most of all the wines were wonderful. So good we joined their club. Do yourself a favor and stop here. You won't... More

We stopped to taste some wine and were the only ones there. Our server was wonderful - super friendly and super knowledgeable about wine in general and Pedernales wine in particular. We loved all the wines and the Glogg was terrific for over Xmas. The wines are high quality and a bit pricier than some but you get what you... More

Although just a minute off the main 290 "wine road" it is well worth the trip. A beautiful setting....gorgeous trees and scenery. Wine is delightful. A great place to take a date or have a business meeting!

The wines here were excellent - we even joined the wine club - we tasted the wines and then purchased a glass of wine and enjoyed it on the patio - the scenery was beautiful - Kay was our host and she was very knowledgeable about the wines and the winery -

My wife and I visited on a Thursday afternoon. Thorough tasting and knowledgeable staff (David was our guy). The view and setting was unbeatable, and the wine was pretty good. David walked us over to the cellar (even though it wasn't an official tour day. If anything, it's a great spot to enjoy a glass (or two) of wine, and... More
