We had a good time, The water park was crowded, yet enjoyable, they had added a few new attractions and added space in the eating area and restrooms! Was really expecting more new water slides. As far as water parks go, it was a good way to cool off on a hot day!

I really don't like to give negative reviews, but I feel like I would be doing fellow Trip Advisor viewers a disservice if I didn't pass on my experiences at this place. I purchased the family season pass package as a friend convinced me that they have made "huge improvements". My review is based on several visits this summer, and... More

We took our daughter here for her 7th birthday today. Not sure if we wanted to get a locker, so we placed our items by the Paradise ride. When I inquired from one of the employees if items were frequently stolen, she stated yes and recommended that we get a locker. Needless to say, we did not get a locker... More

Overall fun and they have made some very good improvements such as food service building is much better, more chairs for guests, paved walkways are white and not so hot. Bathhouse is better however only 2 out of 4 showers work and they need more benches for peak times. They let too many people in the park on weekends to the... More

Overall the facilities are better, they've painted and cleaned up the place. However, the removal of any smoking area makes it a pain for smoker who now must completely exit the park to smoke. My biggest issue with Wet & Wild is the tube rental. To ride most of the rides you need a tube...and they are changing for this... More

We had a nice time overall... but the tube rental is a joke! Mgmt needs to figure out a way to offer tubes at no cost. We visited as a family for my daughter's 8th birthday... rented 1 dbl & 3 single tubes. After floating around the lazy river several times we decided to do other things then go back.... More

I was very excited to go to Splashtown after seeing the commercials about the renovations, especially sine the park is closer than Galveston or New Braunfels, but Schlitterbahn is hard to live up to when it comes to waterparks. And, this one didn't quite make it. I went with my 4.5 year old son who is a water bug and... More

Splashtown can be fun if you just want to get out the house with friends or your kids/family. But I think Splashtown needs to lower their locker prices. And I also feel like the lines for the rides are over the top!!!!! People should be able to bring outside food I've never been to a water park or pool that... More

Let me start by saying that I had not been to Splashtown prior to it being taken over by Wet & Wild. I hadn’t got because friends had warned me that it was “ghetto” and no place to take your kids. So instead of going to Splashtown, which is 30 minutes form our house, we drove 1 ½ hours to... More

The park is renovated, yes, but their pricing policies kill all the positive impressions. Bought a family season pass, with free parking declared as included. Then, it turns out, parking is NOT included "because it was a limited promotion". So, $10 to park, then the rip-off continues: exorbitant prices for lockers, tube rentals, etc. (rental tubes are used in Lazy... More
