Typical water park with many rides and attractions. River is nice to float in and kids love the wave pool. Lots of slides and other active water rides. Great indoor area for parties or a refuge out of the sun to rest. Plenty of area inside for adults to bring work in air conditioned comfort while kids eat or enjoy... More

Only waterpark in Houston area unless you go to Galveston. Can't bring in a cooler. If it is a busy weekend , you may want to rent tubes. No tubes for Lazy River, so this is when you need to rent.

Just a normal waterpark. Nothing special but good for a few hours of fun. Food costs are a bit steep and the quality is poor.

We purchased season passes and visited probably 10 times throughout the summer. Great slides. We would arrive at 10am and stay until the park started to get busy between 12 and 1 or go later in the evening once the crowds had started to leave.

At the begining of the summer we hooked up on the deal for season passes. It was around $55 for each pass and never had to pay for parking- basically pays for itself if you go more than once. Pros: *Fun for all ages - something for everyone! They have children areas for ages 0-6 with a pirate ship/ and... More

I've lived in Houston 40 years and never made it to Splashtown until today with my wife and grand kids (8 and 11). We did rent a cabana right next to the Wave Pool, which is worth the extra $$. All of us had a blast, there was an activity for every level of adventure seeker. Food and beverages were... More

It's the place that the doctor loves because you always end up with a sick kid after they go there. It's pricey and not what it use to be.

I've always loved this place. My family had season passes for close to a decade when I was growing up and we would go a few times a week all summer. I no longer buy a season pass, but I do go once a year to ride the new slides and go on all the old ones again. I was... More

This is a nice water park. We've been many, many times. The only things I dislike about it, (compared to Schlitterbahn in Galveston), are the parking fee - $10 - and the fact that you are not allowed to bring any food or drinks in. They do allow snacks/milk for babies or toddlers and they do allow a small cooler... More

make sure you get there early...the later, the hotter...and the longer the lines, but overall a great place for a day-cation! Even better if you can get a season pass...well worth it!
