We stayed in Lofthaven II for a special birthday celebration, and it was fantastic. The bathhouse, hot tub, waterfall and yurt bedroom were just like the pictures! We were sung to sleep by the sounds of crickets, frogs, a gurgling creek and woke up to an owl and other birds singing to the sunrise! I absolutely recommend an October stay... More

Went zip lining for the first time at Cypress Valley Canopy and really enjoyed the experience. Our guides were fun, knowledgeable, and made me feel safe in their guidance. The trees were beautiful and zip lining through them gives a great perspective on how giant and lovely they are. We will return!

I don't know if I'd go back, but it most definitely worth doing once, especially if you have never been zip lining or rappelling. The hardest part of the whole experience was finding the road to turn at. We kept thinking we had missed it. Hint: The intersection of 71 and Paleface Ranch Road has a light. Coming from Austin,... Took my son here and we both had a lot of fun. Nice guides. The place only has about 4 cables to zip on but they mix it up with rope bridges and the scenery is beautiful. It's a good thing to do in Hill Country

the staff was very patient with my 11 year old daughter who has a slight fear of heights, and helped her overcome that so she could enjoy the rest of the time. we had a great time!

My husband and I were looking to do something different this weekend and decided last minute to visit Cypress Valley Canopy Tours. The location was very serene and beautiful. We swung in hammocks near the water while we waiting for our tour to start. I would recommend not getting their too terribly early of your trip is booked for the... More

Beautiful setting with friendly & personable tour guides. This zip is for novices; people with any experience will enjoy the time, but feel unsatisfied. It is a bit pricey. Five short zips, two swing/sky bridges with a "repel" down (basically just gliding down a rope). I hope they add longer zips.

This was such a great adventure. My wife and her son did this zipline tour at the top of a huge/old stand of cypress trees, near Austin. The staff was very fun, yet professional. The zipline and obstacle courses were great fun. Even though we were ~30 feet up in the air the whole time, I felt quite safe. Well... More

We did the zip line tour, there were a total of 5 plus a rappel. The zip lines were nice, I would really recommend these if you are a first timer. If you are more experienced at zip lines, these may disappoint a bit. Had to hand break and had to keep hands on the trolley (I think that is... More

We stayed in Lofthaven, which was WONDERFUL! Its a great place for the adventurous. We also took the zipline tour and it was beautiful with the cypress trees changing colors but was not nearly as exciting as one would hope.
