My 6- and 8-year-old children enjoyed horseback riding tremendously! The 6-year-old was on a horse attached to the lead guide. The 8-year-old rode on her own. We took the four o'clock, one hour tour. As a family (husband, wife, girls ages 9 and 11), we had a great time. Horses behaved themselves for the most part. One was a biter, but not too surprising--always seems to be one. Just keep distance from other horses/riders. I recommend wearing capri's or long pants although not absolutely necessary--would not recommend short shorts. Take along a small camera.... More
