You would think that riding horses on the beach is overrated and that it'd be the same as anywhere else. But it is, just riding at a nice pace along the beach with the gulf air it's truly a magical experience.

There is nothing more romantic then watching the sun set while on horseback. The ride will take you on the Laguna Madre side of South Padre Island. This should be on your bucket list of things to do with the one you love.

I have nothing but good things to say. The horses are gentle, our guide Alica was awesome, and we loved every minute of it! If you're lucky enough to get Alicia as your guide - tip her well! She's worth it.

My 6- and 8-year-old children enjoyed horseback riding tremendously! The 6-year-old was on a horse attached to the lead guide. The 8-year-old rode on her own. We took the four o'clock, one hour tour. Just the right amount for the three of us!
