Now we are a sea turtle hospital with a mission to rehabilitate and release any injured sea turtles, increase awareness concerning their safety and habitat, and assist with conservation efforts for all sea turtle species. We are funded by donations, grants and gift shop proceeds-- 80% goes to help sea turtles locally, and 20% funds other sea turtle projects around the world. Every year we adopt a long term resident and enjoy the hatchling releases. Kids and grownups alike learn from the lectures and seeing these wonderful creatures.

We visit Sea Turtle, Inc. annually - they do tremendous work to save and rehabilitate sea turtles! The last two years we have been lucky enough to get to see releases of baby turtles into the ocean - spectacular!

The layout and flexibility of the place really allows kids to roam around and look at whatever interests them. There is also enough science based information for adults to learn something. A South Padre Must See!

It is amazing seeing these large turtles glide around the tanks so gracefully. The presentation by the staff was absolutely outstanding. They even have a tank where you can feed the turtle and get good pictures. Excellent, relaxing, informative, and fun.

So many sea turtles to see! Pulls at your heart strings for sure. Fell in love with a few of the little guys. They all had something wrong but were very well taken care of and loved. You can see them up close and hear stories about many of them. Cost was only a $3 donation but you'll want to... More

It was impressive to see this big and beautiful creatures in the huge tanks provided to them.. They had a guide who discusses the different types of the sea turtles... Only thing I had a issue was it was very packed in there.. alot of people visiting this facility..

This place is wonderful. They run off donations. There is nothing to dislike. Like I said everyone needs to go here and learn about the life of a Sea Turtle.

Loved seeing the turtles and learning about them. So much I didn't know on how they survive. The kids wish they would have had one turtle they could of touched.

Donations accepted to enter, lots of assorted turtles to view and enjoy. Learn all about the life of the turtles through a very informative talk they have several times a day. You may also participate in releases, ask for the schedule. Great gift shop!
