I love turtles, and here you get to see them up close and personal! When you arrive, the first thing you see is the amazing sand sculpture out front. Inside are many different tanks with all kinds of sea turtles that have been rescued. You learn all about turtles and how they are rescued and rehabilitated to be released back... More

We never miss coming here when we visit the island. Sea Turtle Inc is a turtle rescue facility that is open to the public, and free, and staffed for the most part by knowledgeable workers who are full of sea turtle facts. There are about five permanent residents who have been so injured that they can't be released back to... More

This place is run solely on donations, and they deserve all the help they can get. Our spokesperson was very knowledgeable and gave an excellent presentation on types of sea turtles, their habitat, their various diets, and the dangers they face. Most important of all, we learned what we can do to help. Hint: don't throw anything plastic in the... More

I was pleasantly surprised at how dedicated the staff is to the mission of rescue and rehabilitation of the turtles in their care. You were greeted upon entry by a staff member who gave you a brief history of Sea Turtle, Inc. and then you were on your own to visit all the different tanks. There was personnel available to... All I heard about was the lady that started all this and we had to go see it. I was impressed by the way they were helping and rehabbing the turtles found in the area. Great for all to see.
