Seeing the turtles is fun, but I thought the passionate and knowledgeable staff was the real highlight. My family learned so much about these magnificent creatures in the hour that we spent there.

Parking was not easy but we had fun viewing the turtles at Sea Turtle Inc. Just some big tanks to look in. Not much else.

The people at the turtle center do a very good trying to help the endangered Ridley Turtles. The center is very informative and interesting. The gift shop is small, but has many nice things in it.

This place has a huge history here on the island. You will get to see live turtles and learn how these animals survive. Fantastic gift shop. Many ways to volunteer your time to help. Learn about the expansion!

We went during out winter vacation, so they had some of the tanks covered because the turtles were cold, the ones we could see looked like they were well taken care of and tanks were clean, the lady in the shop was very nice overall it was a good place with good vibes!

We had a great time at the Sea Turtle rescue! Our group consisted of 2 families - 4 adults and 5 young kids, and everyone enjoyed it.

Went here twice and really was mad I didn't go every day. Sad stories about the injuries of the sea turtles but great that a lot get to be released. They had a hatchling which was super exciting to see. The second day I went my friend stayed outside (it was freezing thanks to the darn polar vortex) and I... More

Great little center devoted to rescuing and rehabilitating injured sea turtles. Had multiple tanks with recovering animals. Worth a stop.

My friends and I were in South Padre Island for a friend's wedding. While planning our trip, we decided to stop by the Sea Turtle Sanctuary. It is located on the north end of the island, across from Clayton's and there is a wave bus stop at the front door. There is no admission fee, but they do ask for... More

Our grandsons loved the sea turtles. It was great to see the work they are doing to educate the public, but kinda sad to see what we humans have done to the creatures. Definitely recommend!
