What a great free place to go and learn about sea turtles. Take the money you would have paid for admission & donate to the turtles

Really a nice little stop! It makes you stop and think about wildlife and the horrible effects that we have on our environment. It is not a big place, but worth the stop! Make sure to donate to a good cause!

Saw the signs but never went in before. One of the few places that does not charge admission. The people are dedicated and are open to any questions. Interesting to see photos of all the turtles that have been rescued. Several turtles in tanks going thru rehab. So non commerical and yet informative. They are truly a worthy work and... More

Funded solely on donations, this place is a great little stop to visit. You can see the turtles up close and not in tanks. The workers are very willing to educate and tell the stories of each one.

You must visit here. The experience is informative and educational, the staff are friendly and knowledgable, and ultimately, the visit is humbling and sobering. There really aren't words to describe the magnificent creatures there, the sweeping and vast picture you get of the planet's ecology, and the passionate dedication of the staff. Go there as many times as you can... More

It was amazing getting to see the turtles and how the facility was accommodating the rehabilitation of the injured marine life.

I remember my younger sister had a pet turtle, Myrtle the Turtle. But though some people still have pet turtles, this place offers a much broader view of the Turtle World. It really makes clear the influence one person can make. The exhibits are helpful but the educational presentations are powerful and very well done. Come enter the Turtle World... More

I wanted to stay longer but they were closing. They do a great job! There were so many turtles of different sizes, ranging from slightly injured to severly injured.
