Your trip to the island is not complete if you haven't stopped by to see the turtles. Very informative and interesting. Especially for children 12 or younger. Be sure to take your camera in with you so you can get a few pic's of your kids enjoying the turtles. Took my granddaughter and she enjoyed it so much she wrote... More

I have thought about this place since leaving. They do such great things and some of their stories are so sad. I am happy to know they are saving lives and doing such great things for the turtles. Admission was based purely on suggested donation $3 for adults and $2 for kids so our visit was a mere $11 which... More

Very interesting. They help with the rescue of injured sea turtles. They have various tanks to view them up close. Funding is through donations. $3/person donation to get in.

Such a great place to visit and take kids. They have hourly presentations on all the different types of turtles in the Gulf Coast area and large tanks where they house the sick turtles they are nursing back to health. Sometimes they have events to help benefit the turtles, and donations are always welcome. It's a perfect pace to visit.

Really a hole in the wall place, but very well cared for sea turtles in various stages of recovery, or if they are un-releasable this is their home until a zoo might take them. The info sessions I believe start on the hour and are very informative. For a suggested donation of $2 for kids and $3 for adults, this... More
