Very worthwhile excursion. Just an hour or so of your time. The staff was very knowledgeable and the work they do there is interesting and important. They take very good care of their turtles there and listening to the volunteers talk about the rehab work they do there was very educational. My daughter had a great time!

Can't say enough good things about this place and the work these folks do to rehab our sea turtles. You get up close and personal with all it's residents and the staff always take time to share what's going on. I LOVE this place and go every time we visit SPI.

This organization has been around for the 30+ years that we've come to the Island. They are serious about saving endangered and injured sea turtles! Their "no-frills" location is manned by volunteers. Take the time to talk to them. You can learn a lot and have an appreciation for their dedication. There is no admission charge - only a donation... Took my family here to see the turtles one random weekend. There was no admission fee but they encouraged donations. Nice exhibits and the staff was great about telling the titles stories about how they were rescued. One of them wears a prosthetic fin to swim. Great overall experience and a great cause.

We almost missed going to Sea Turtle, Inc because we were running out of time. We were able to go since we decided to stay another day. I'm sure glad that we did! It was neat to see large and smaller sea turtles up close. I say that it is "somewhat educational" because there are only really two people who... More

This was an educational visit. I live in the Midwest and did not realize how populated the sea is with human's inconsiderate littering, and what it damage it does to the aquatic life. This is ran totally by volunteers and so just your donation gets you in? They have a speaker you can sit and listen to that is very... More

Fun, short stop at the Turtle Rescue and Rehab. My 3 year old liked seeing then turtles and asked to go back the next day. It was neat seeing the turtle with the prosthesis swim in her tank. Was also cool hearing about the ways they are helping and what we can do to help. Well worth the stop!

If you are expecting to see a large number of turtles or to hold or touch one, or a nice building or exhibit, or to be entertained for more than 15 minutes, this is probably not your thing. If you want to hear/see about the great work they do with rescuing sea turtles, then it is. They are working towards... More
