I called in March and was told no reservations for specific spots but a deposit would guarantee a some spot on a first come basis.. I called in April to verify something and was told there was no record of my having called---thank goodness I... More

This is a great place for motorhomes....you have the Bay on one side and the Gulf on the other....the best of both worlds. Nice facilities.

we do not understand this being a must see destination. The island is small you will eventually get there if you explore. The destination really is a RV park, beach, picnic area and fishing pier.

Located a south end of S. Padre Island - Entry fee required - Campground is above average - beach access was good with good facilities.

The tip of South Padre Island is a great spot to fish, walk out on the jetty, fly a kite on the beach or just hang on the beach, it's beautiful, clean and there are picnic areas and playgrounds. It does cost $5 to get into the park area but well worth it if you make it your day spot... More

Had the perfect spot. Friendly guests but wish the wi-fi was free. It was available throughout the park but charged hourly rates.

There is a small fee to enter the park or you can purchase a monthly pass. You can see ships coming and going up the channel to Brownsville. Park along the channel and watch the dolphins playing or the pelicans diving and ducks swimming and the peole fishing along the jetty. There is a huge statute dedicated to the fishermen... More

Been here for a few years for the Winters, and love the location. Right on the southern tip of SPI, with gulf waters on one side, and the Laguna Madre/Intercoastal waters on the other. Staff are friendly and helpful, always willing to please. Monthly fees are reasonable for the location, some of the facilities could use some TLC. They will... More
