We went to the beach for morning surf time as my wife's MS does not tolerate heat for long. We got to enjoy our granddaughters surfing and water boarding. We got to walk on the beach for shell hunting.

Everytime my wife and I visit the Island this is the beach we go to. If you go early enough you can watch the surfers which we both enjoy. The water is warm and there is always plenty of shells, if you like finding shells. There is always plenty of parking. If you are walking barefoot in the sand I... More

Campground with RV hookups, beach, ocean waves, great restaurants in the area and other attractions. Just enjoy relaxing on the beach!

This is our favorite spot on the beach. They have a deck with picnic tables so you wont be in the sun and restrooms and showers. With a concession stand in case you forget anything.

I spent an entire Sunday on the beach at Isla Blanca park in mid-July. I can't speak to the RV parking or anything else - just the beach. It was $5 to get into the park, which is immediately off to your right when you get off the causeway onto the island. I arrived at about 10:45 a.m. and got... More

Because we couldn't drive it out on the beach, we went out here to explore a little. The paved roads get as close to the beach as you can on a four wheeler. $5 per vehicle for a day pass. Looked nice enough to me. Didn't explore too much- stayed out of the camping area and it seemed a bit... More

I think we had more fun on the free beaches, and we did here. However this might be a place for families with small children. They have two separate beaches, as well as showers and restrooms. They also have a covered pavilion with a snack bar. There's a five dollar charge to get in. The beaches here also have life... More

The park is on the lagoon side and separated into 2 areas - one that is gated and RVs only, and the a smaller area that has no restricted access just outside the gated area. We tent camped in the smaller area. The only view was of muddy lagoon. And it stunk because of the fishing businesses nearby. The bathroom... More

I didn't spend any time at the beach but it looked fine. I went out on the Jetty several times in the mornings and had some of the most memorable moments of my vacation out there. Saw some great sunrises. I caught a bunch of fish, like Mangrove Snapper, Sheepshead, Whiting, and Sand trout. Had a hit from a Redfish... More
