There is a small fee to enter the park or you can purchase a monthly pass. You can see ships coming and going up the channel to Brownsville. Park along the channel and watch the dolphins playing or the pelicans diving and ducks swimming and the peole fishing along the jetty. There is a huge statute dedicated to the fishermen... More

Been here for a few years for the Winters, and love the location. Right on the southern tip of SPI, with gulf waters on one side, and the Laguna Madre/Intercoastal waters on the other. Staff are friendly and helpful, always willing to please. Monthly fees are reasonable for the location, some of the facilities could use some TLC. They will... More

We really like the location of the park. Surrounded by the Laguna Madre, Gulf and the channel to Brownsville. The washroom facilities could use a lot of work as they are quite run down (rates as poor) but the location rates as very good.

Nice spot for a sunrise, it was a little cold during this month but we loved it. It was my girlfriend's first time here and she loved it.

We were there to watch the USS Constitlution being towed through the ship channel to Brownsville and cutting up for scrap. There was a large crowd and excellent viewing. While there we checked out the rest of the park including a large statue of the saint of lost seaman. There is a very large camper site and a place to... More

At one time this was a great family park. For whatever reason those days are long gone. The beach is trashy and it needs major updating.

Able to drive around and see the beach, and watch others fish. Inside the park is the Coastal Living Lab which is free and has many examples of shells, fish, and other sea life.

If you are a nature lover the jetties are great for fishing. Nice beachq, great views. Enjoyed our time. Worth a stop.

Liked everything about it. We had a picnic lunch and mainly walked around to just enjoy the area. Will probably take our travel trailer the next time we visit.
