The oyster shack in the park is a real treat. Simple, but picturesque looking over the water. Good deals like oysters on the halfshell, hot dogs and beer, and other "specials". Really worth going to!

Beach is open to all, small admission fee. If you're a RV'r, you get a card so you don't pay the fee when you go in and out. Beautiful, with tons of Winter Texans. Do not go in March, unless you are a student on Spring Break!!!

We keep an rv there from Mar 1- Sept 1. It is a real old-fashioned county park right on the Gulf beach. There are full hook-ups, partial hook-ups and tent space available. It is family oriented and supervised by Cameron County. Most spaces are either paved or at least have paved drive runners to park on. It is right next...

I like this beach. As far as beaches go it's clean, white sand, etc. The only thing I have to say is NEVER go on a holiday. You won't find any parking space or enough space to relax on the actual beach. We tried it once and NEVER again. Since I lived nearby all my life I actually used to...
