We have been coming to this beach for as long as I can remember. There is plenty of parking but it does get full quickly during the summer or holidays. The addition of lifeguards is nice. We've never had a problem with seaweed as the beach is combed early in the morning. Now on the other hand, the bathrooms and... More

My husband and I have enjoyed this beach for years. When family comes to visit, they always want to go to the beach. The public bathrooms are always clean plus there are showers in case you want to clean up and go into town. During the tourist season, you can rent beach chairs and umbrella ($30 for the set or... Nice clean beach with life guards, covered pavilions and grills. Small fee to get into the park. They have picnic tables with grills by the fishing jetty. Would not recommend on the weekend but great during the week not as many people. It is listed as a state park but it is not. Unable to use your state park pass... More

We didn't think too much on it but getting out took about 30min! There is no shade except for the main bathroom & rest area so bring an... More

Great beach with life guard! The sand was very clean and free of litter. There is a restroom close as well as food and umbrellas. The parking goes quickly so come early!

Many fun families that travel from everywhere. Very busy of course on Saturdays, beware of the evening traffic though. Many activities as well as restaurants close by.

Lovely, spacious beach that we've visited during many trips to SPI. Consistently clean and regardless of crowd size, there always seems to be a place we can stake out and enjoy without feeling cramped.

Great beach area. Clean and plenty of room for fishing or swimming. RV sites close by and picnic areas with food available.
