Thought that we would spend the weekend at the park but after 2 hours we decided that it was a waste of time. The outdoor pool was fun of 50 kids or more throwing multiple footballs every where. After being hit multiple times we had enough . There was only one lifeguard on duty at a time and they were all... This park is kept very clean. Great family attraction. Price is decent and plenty to do the whole day. Great thing is, you are allowed to bring in your own food and drinks (except alcohol), and plenty is available for purchase at reasonalble prices. Parking is FREE!!!!! Not as big as the original park in New Braunfels, but still great... More

Thanks for the review....yes, New Braunfels is the #1 waterpark in the USA (16 years in a row...and counting), but they do not have our beautiful beaches :o) Thanks for pointing our family friendly amenities......plus, our resort Guests (yes, we have a beachfront hotel!!) provides discounts of 40% to our waterpark visitors and also allows them exclusive ride time at... What a great family day we had! Unfortunately, it was a little expensive, and the food was outrageous! We ate at the shrimp hays, and they wouldn't let us eat inside because we weren't completely dry. All in all a fun time, though!

I bought tickets for my son and I for January 1st. The experience started out bad as we went to the parking lot for the outdoor park and there was no indication of how to get to the indoor park. After wandering the grounds, an employee saw us and directed us to the right place, which is a car ride... More

We appreciate you sharing your visit and certainly hope that you will consider a future visit to see what we are really all about. As you probably discovered, the city had a transformer "blow" that day, which we obviously have no control over and compromised our ability to properly keep the air temperature where we like. We refunded anyone who... More

We stayed at the resort the last week of December 2014. During our stay it was between 46 and 68 for the day's highs and we really enjoyed the fun of the waterpark. It's small - a fast lazy river, two slides, a kids play area, a carousel and a ball play area. The water was comfortable for the river... More

Thanks for the nice words and for spending some of your holidays with us. As a family-first property, we try and make sure we do all we can to keep things comfortable, safe, fun and entertaining. Glad you enjoyed it! The recent, well below normal temperatures have caused us to re-examine some of our heating methods to ensure we keep... More

My family and I have been here several times. The indoor and outdoor park is extremely fun. The children enjoy it. The price is a bit high, but the valley doesn't have much to experience so this is a nice trip to have.

Thanks for the review...with our family-friendly policies of free parking, free tubes and allowing in picnics and drinks (no alcohol or glass please), we make sure that we can be affordable while providing an entire day of fun at both the indoor, heated waterpark (open year-round) and the seasonal outdoor waterpark, ranked #1 kid friendly attraction in Texas! Help, we're lost! The first thing to know about vacationing at this resort is locating it. When turning off the Queen Isabella Causeway you will want to make a right turn towards Pier 19 and then get into the left turn lane. We spent several circles trying to locate the resort, each time we went too far past Pier 19... More

Thanks so much for the very detailed and comprehensive review! It is definitely appreciated and the more details, the better it is for all of the Trip Advisor readers. We feel your pain on the directional signage and are working diligently with city officials in requesting a signage variance so that we can better inform our Guests on getting here....we... More

If you're on the island for more than a few days, this is a good way to entertain the family The lazy river is great for those wanting a more relaxing day. There are various slides and pools to keep kids entertained. If you have teens or kids that are used to mega-size parks, they may be disappointed. This park... More

You better go there and check it out before you put any money down. You are going to be massively disappointed, and even maybe angry because you got ripped off. Everything about this place in SPI is a joke.

Sorry to hear you were not happier with your visit to South Padre Island or to our park. Located on the beaches of South Padre Island, our indoor waterpark price is basically the cost of a couple of movie tickets for our resort guests and offers a full day of fun with it's interactive MegaBlast game, carousel, seaside saltwater pool,... The island has a variety of attractions for the cost of this water park admission. We've been to the Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels which offers 4X the water park rides for your money. Here you pay the same admission for much less.

Thanks for taking the time to review. The indoor park is open (and heated) year-round...weekends plus most days school is out of session. It is a part of the overall complex which includes the much larger outdoor waterpark, multiple restaurants and our beachfront 220 room hotel. While the indoor park does provide a seaside salt water pool, a heated swim-up... More
