We have been to both Schlitterbahns in Texas and enjoyed this one most because all the fun is in one park, it's located right on the beach and the fact that we could lounge in the lazy river and still take side trips to the numerous waterslides without having to get out of our tubes! More

Hot summer sun + huge pool = great way to relax and get away from it all. The rides are not the biggest/greatest, but can't beat the huge pool/river. To me it's the greatest advantage. More

We have been getting season passes here for several years now. And we love it. Get the kids some money to put on their wrist and sit down and relax. The park is incredible, the food is good (a little pricey) but the cool thing is you can bring in a cooler with food and drinks if you would like.... More

not as good as the original in the hill country, but okay. be sure to go for the half price session and float until closing. don't eat the food there..too expensive and not enough...just wait until later and kid a resturant on the mainland...you know the one with the pirate! More

We take our grandchildren here every summer. It is truly run exceptionally well by dedicated people. Their site is totally family oriented--won't even allow any outside entertainment (band fests, festivals, etc.) which is not considered family appropriate.
