I was so shocked by all of the prices, that no matter how good the water and/or wait staff was, it did not make up for the "airport" price and "hospital" taste food. It might be nice if you are renting a cabana that you are informed you will need a lock and that you should bring your own. In... More

Small but fun water park in South Padre! I think if you had young children then you may enjoy it more. They have excellent areas for the young ones. We were traveling with teens. Our favorite ride was the Torrent river in the indoor water park area. It was so much fun! One day was plenty to experience it all!

Water park was fun. Can be very crowded so go early before the locals come. Not sure older kids would enjoy this place- not enough daring slides. Mine are 4, 9 & 11. Lots of the equipments seem like they need to be better maintained. Not a place I have to revisit, even my kids agreed.

If you care to take a chance on waiting to buy your tickets, when you get to the island, you may be able to find Buy 1 Get 1 coupons in the visitor's guide. I sincerely wish I would have known this. (see the pic I posted) Anyhoo, the park is AWESOME. We spent over an hour in the Torrent... More

We just went last weekend. Why do we like it? Face it, as a parent with two active kids, you don't wanna climb stairs, and get in and out of the water waiting on rides! We (husband and I) like it because we float into every line, and only have to get out of the water for 1 ride. I... More

Fun place but very expensive, not very many rides. Service in walk up restaurant was not very good. Wait was way too long

It's a nice park! Don't get me wrong! It's just that I feel it's more for children than for thrill seekers! I've been to all 3 Texas Schlitterbahns', and unfortunately South Padre is the smallest with the least attractions! I went to the New Braunfels one this same summer and I have to say it's the best waterpark! South Padre... More

Will never go back unless they advertise they have started limiting their admittance to the park. There were literally no floats or chairs. It was the biggest waste of time and so expensive. I thought it was an isolated incident but have heard from friends it has been that way all summer. Shame on them for being so greedy!

Sorry to hear about your recent experience at the park. We provide tubes throughout the park and if a Guest for some reason does have trouble retrieving one from the water's edge, one of our team members will gladly assist you in locating one. We also provide seating, both indoor and outdoor, shaded or sunny, to try and give some... More

Thought there would be more rides. Liked how the lazy river connected all the rides however lines were long and people were rude. Not work all that it is cracked up to be

Thanks for visiting us back in May and sorry you did not better enjoy all the attractions, rides, chutes and slides we provide. With nearly two dozen attractions throughout the indoor and outdoor parks, we try and provide a wide array of activities for all age groups and our two different river systems even allow you to enjoy a more... Great water park. You don't have to wait in the hot sun, you relax in your inner tube and wait, no hot concrete to wait on! Lots of shade. You can take your own drinks/food, free parking. Inner tubes were easy to get.

Thanks Anne! While we know you will spend a lot of time in the water, we know there are times when you will get out of the water so we take a great deal of pride in our landscaping, ample seating and providing plenty of shade when it is time to get out of the sun for a bit. We... More
