It has nearly two dozen world-class attractions, 13 amazing water slides, Soaring Eagle Zipline, Sea Trek, an underwater "Snuba" experience, the Shrimp Haus and Seaside Grill full-service restaurants are on site and the food is excellent. We got there early and had the run of the place. For a sunday it started slow but by noon the park was full. The rides were great and lots of continuous fun. The staff needs to be more interactive and help guide you to the fun.

debiallmon, Thanks for the kind words and the five stars! We always appreciate our Trip Advisor friends sharing ways for others to best experience the park and ways to save some money. Sundays early are always a great time to come and enjoy the most popular rides first (the four uphill water coasters and the Boogie Bahn) and enjoy the... More

Skyy2001, Thank you for sharing your experience and sharing the important ways for folks to best enjoy the park....if you have weekday time to come, you avoid the larger crowds of the weekend and will have the time to enjoy some of the rides more than once if you want. Of course, bring in your own food and drinks (no... More

You can definitely enjoy yourself here. Just don't have high expectations. The park is a decent size but could be bigger. The attractions are fun but there are not enough. In busy days there are huge lines to go on the better rides. The good thing is that you can take your own food but even then I think this... More

Came in August and was worried about lines and waiting in the sun, but there is plenty of shade and the lines are little to none. Super fun, loved it. Great location, easy to find, lots of close parking

Kevin B, Thanks for the 5 stars! Great advice at waiting until August to visit when the crowds are smaller (weekdays and Sundays are also better times to visit). We look forward to seeing you on your next trip down from Houston. Thanks, Mike More

Psotelo, Thanks for your comments and sorry that you did not feel the ticket price was what it should have been. Please keep in mind that most parks charge around $10 to park and very high prices for food and drinks whereas we provide free parking, and allow you to bring in your own picnics (no glass or alcohol please)... This park is small and only has about 7 or 8 rides. We spent 4 hours there, but if you're looking for rides like the one in New Braunfels you won't find them here. We had a great time, but knew what to expect. You can take a cooler which is nice.

christyd1, Thanks for the visit and sharing the money saving tidbit on coming at 3:00 where prices are discounted for afternoon admission. While the park is not as large as New Braunfels, we are frequently ranked as high (or higher) than other parks due to our family-interactive rides where you can enjoy your day together and not just going single... Horrible experience! My daughter was on a ride safely in her tube on a water slide until the ride stopped . My 3 teenage boys were bored to tears, $50 for 2 hours was a waste of money to float on a river. I took them when they were 3, 7 and 11 and they loved it.

SondraM, I appreciate your review and hope the kids were able to enjoy the attractions designed for the older ones and adults as well....four uphill water coasters, one of the largest surf rides in the country (Boogie Bahn), two four-story slides, multiple tube chutes and the tidal wave river in addition to the lazy river. Rachel n, Thanks for your review and glad to hear that you are a Schlitter-regular!
