We create memories! The Wells family has served South Padre Island for 5 generations and we create memories that last a life time! Our Adventure Park is located at the end of State Park Road 100 with forty acres of land spanning from the Gulf of Mexico to the Laguna Madre Bay that provides an unparalleled location for Adventure on South Padre Island. Our horseback rides are along the beach and water's edge and we often see a variety of shoreline and marine life and we get to ride in the remote portion of the Island that few people get to experience. No crowds here! Our Petting Barn is filled with birds and animals we have rescued or have been donated to us for a forever home. Children can enjoy a safe and educational interaction with all of our birds and animals (us big kids too). Dolores also owns The Massage & Healing Arts Center and her licensed and professional Massage Therapists are ready for your pampered needs after a fun day at the beach. Come; make your memories with us! We love what we do and we look forward to exploring the Island with you soon. Doyle & Dolores Wells

My daughter and I had a great time riding horses on the beach! It's truly a unique experience. The guides are nice and they let you trot and take them in the water a bit if you want. My horse, Bullet, did a lot of trotting on his (or her) own :) which was fine by me. I would definitely... More

My boyfriend and I thought it would be romantic to take a horseback ride on the beach.. This ride turned out to be the worst..when they put us on our horses I was riding a horse name Tequila who was way in the front of the stable and my boyfriend was on a horse name Streek who was way in... More

Accidentally ended up at this place. My wife and I did the research on a place called the stables and in the end called the wrong number and made a reservation. It is a drive to the north end of the island with a pleasant view of the gulf and sand dunes. After signing in and fitting my daughter with... More

My daughter and I took the 10:30 AM ride. Love it, the guides were great. The pace was nice and slow so we could take scenery. Would totally recommend this !

We chose to do the Monday morning ride and it was well worth it! Our daughters are aged 6 and 10 and they were more than accommodating for their lack of experience! It felt like a long ride and we were even able to trot quickly a few times :) When we plan our next vacation down to the island... More

By far the BEST trail ride we have every been on. The trip was a solid two hours and involved walking over dunes, walking on the beach, walking in the water, and trotting. The guides were great. The trip takes you over to the ocean and then back to the bay. We did the sunset ride and while there were... More

I was on a 5 year anniversary with my wife and I went horse back riding with Sout Padre Island Adventure Park. It was a little different from what I was used to, but from the time we pulled up to leaving it was well worth it. I had so much fun the staff made my day to riding and... More

Me, my wife, and our teenage daughter are somewhat experienced so they gave us horses with a bit more spirit. Some folks had less experience and were given more sedate horses. Riding along the Gulf shore, with a nice stiff breeze, was exhilarating. Far and above many comparable trail riding experienced we have had!!!

My family had a fun time on the beautiful beach riding horses. I loved the way we could ride side by side and trot the horses. :-)

We went to do the petting zoo. From the very beginning I did not have a good feeling. The first room with the birds is creepy!!! I felt like I was in a horror movie. The animals outside looked sad and unhealthy. The alpaca looked sick and malnourished. I just have a bad bad feeling about this place. So happy... More
