This was a neat place to visit, but it cost almost $20, and we basically just walked a long pier over the marshlands. There was a 10-minute informative video, though. I'd recommend going as soon as they open or right before they close. Even at 10:00 there were very few birds out because of the heat. Overall it was an... More

Did not see very many birds at all. Saw a few crabs and small fish in canals and that's about it. If you follow the pathway all the way around you wind up at exit gate out in the parking lot. I feel it should go back to the gift center.

So well thought out. Learned so much about the area. Love the view from the top of the tower, especially. Interesting to learn the importance of the water treatment plant nearby.

This was an awesome experience for someone who likes birds as much as I do. It was great watching the birds fly right up to you to get the food you can purchase in the gift store. I was stalked by a duck the whole time and I loved it!

They need to let you know more about what they have to offer. We were not told that they sell bird food and I had to ask for a map of the place.

After a short 10 min. intro video you are left on your own to walk the boardwalk and butterfly trail. (1/2 mile I think) It was relaxing even tho we picked a hot day! The view from the tower was cool. We saw some wildlife we weren't familar with so I was happy! Knowledgeable staff answered our questions afterwards.

Not a whole lot to do. Just feed the birds. Its a nice looking place but you barely see anything. The views are nice! The places is very well kept! We stayed there looking for something to see but nothing!

Stop here and you'll think twice about even stepping on a bug. Learn how to coexist with nature. Ant the sand is nice, too.
