Very well maintained, informative exhibits with friendly staff. About a mile of boardwalk through the marshes out to the lagoon provided good opportunity to see many different birds, an alligator, turtles and fish. Really nice observation tower as well. Enjoyed our visit.

So one of the winter Texans told me that only 5% of people see an alligator and finally I'm in a good 5% !!! We went twice and saw him both times. I want to clear something up about this because I had read about the Laguna Madre Nature Trail and being able to see birds, alligators, etc. Laguna Madre... More

Loved the walk! Gorgeous boardwalk down to the bay with tons of wildlife around. We saw two of the three alligators and countless birds. Sat in the last bird blind over the bay and watched the kite boarders. Nice relaxing walk, great for photographers.

I love going here, so pretty and peaceful. A lot of birds. One thing, some times it smells, depends on which way the wind is blowing.

Great opportunity to see birds up close and in natural habitat. Walkways allow you to stroll way out over the salt marshes.

I learned a lot about the native birds and plants, saw gorgeous birds at all the areas along the path. Alligators too! Which was not expected but thrilling! Really knowledgeable and friendly staff

It is very well presented with bird blinds, a very nice board walk, lots of natural features that attract birds, turtles, crabs, and even some alligators. The center has great exhibits and a very informative video presentation. Plan to spend more time there.
