Saw many island birds, enjoyed the exhibits and movie. Very relaxing and interesting. The boardwalks would be hot on a summer day. There are rid blinds, more like shelters, to get shade and rest.

The views were fantastic and it is well set up. It is an easy walk for those considering a visit. If you are interested in birds I would recomend a visit.

There are close to miles of boardwalk trails in the wetland area along the shore of the center. I'm not a bird person but the abundance of various species at close range (some less than 10ft) is amazing. Walkways over water with viewing portholes too. Good museum, very informative film, nice gift shop, and lots of birds to view on the trail through the marsh area. Only drawback is that we were going to do Sea Turtles after we finished at the birding center, but we spent so long birdwatching that we had to catch Sea Turtle the next day.
