This was disappointing to say the least. We walked all of the boardwalk, and saw very little to even mention. We might have been there the wrong time, I don't know, but when you go Birding, you expect to see Birds, and we didn't.

$5 admission. They have a beautiful building that has a wonderful observatory. Very nice walkways with seating and shaded areas every so often. It was raining the day we went but still enjoyed it. Saw tons of wildlife.

It wasn't to hot which made this very nice. Beautiful birds, lots of butterflies. Overall, a nice hour enjoying a walk with a relaxing scener2.

I really enjoy going to the birding and nature center on SPI. I'm not a "birder" but found some fascinating birds during my last visit. Also enjoy walking and seeing all the various plants, fish, etc. Very enjoyable experience.

The boardwalk is flat and very accessible. We saw so many birds and even 2 alligators. We spent hours watching the HUGE variety of birds. Saw about a dozen Rosette Spoonbills--beautiful pink. Highly recommend this!

We were delighted to discover the birding center is compatible and easy assessable for wheel chairs, or any handicap vehicles. It was a cool crisp day and though the baby alligators were not seen the two large ones were taking a siesta in the sun. A mother duck was busy keeping her eight babies near. Some migrating birds that we... More

I have to admit I thought that this sounded like it was going to be about a 30 minute excursion. We ended up staying much longer and seeing much more that I expected. The walkways are extremely nice and a great way to get in a bit of exercise. A great place for the Nature Lover and a definite must... More
