Nature lovers and especially bird watchers paradise. Many types of birds that are not seen in other areas of the country in one habitat. If you are lucky you might see a gator.

Lots of birds and saw gators in the pond. Nice blinds for easy viewing of the birds without disturbing them. Paved walks for easy walking. Saw many Harrier raptors.

Take your time on a pretty day and walk the cat walk over the water and you will see birds you've probably never seen along with alligators, turtles and fish.

We saw all sorts of birds and 2 gators peaking out of the water at us! SO FUN! The nature trail is long, and it was hot, but there is shaded seating if you get tired along the way!

A lovely place to take your time and walk along the nature trail. Lots of bird watching. The museum on the second floor was quite impressive too. We ended up staying there a lot longer than we thought which was a pleasant surprise.

Starting at the convention center this is a free, quicker version of the Birding and Nature Center boardwalk experience. It's not a substitute for visiting the Center but is a nice addition.

We spent two nights watching the sunset and seeing the birds come in to roost from this trail. Along with all of the birds, we also saw some small crabs scurrying across the boardwalk.

No fee to access this boardwalk that often runs adjacent to the Birding Center boardwalk which you have to pay for. We visited this several times during our stay and often saw the same birds as we did at the Birding Center, just not as many. Signage is poor from the street since the sign is faded. You access the... More

Although it was very hot and humid on the morning we visited, we were very glad we saw this and will come back again. The boardwalk is adjacent to the Whaling Wall at the Convention Center, We walked along a boardwalk (which is very well constructed and safe) out to a pavilion over the water where we could sit and... This trail was right by our hotel. My husband and I walked this trail a couple of times. The Sunset from the boardwalk is AMAZING!
