My family was looking for something to do the day after Thanksgiving, so we ventured to Sante Fe, TX which took about 50 minutes with traffic on I45 S from Houston. We entered the small gift shop where we paid our $10 per person fee for tour and tasting, Four others joined us for the tour which began on the... More

***call ahead to reserve a spot for the winery tour** It was a family outing that we went on; thanks to a special running on Groupon that included the tour, tasting and some food/drink from the deli (there is a nice sitting area outside to enjoy your purchase or an additional glass(es) of wine). Kids welcome, pets are not. The... More

I visited Texas for the first time and my sister who lives in Pearland took me to this lovely Winery to have a tasting. It was great and the service was very nice, the wines where great.

A friend recommended an afternoon visit. Did not expect to find a winery near Galveston! Small family run establishment. Took in the tour and the wine tasting ($10). Red and white wines were definitely on the "young" side of things. Had a nice blush that my wife bought. Don't be alarmed at the location, in the middle of a neighborhood.... More

My husband and I decided to try this place based on some information we had gotten from others. We went on a Sunday and took the tour. The tour guide was knowledgable and friendly. We started out near the vineyard (where they only grow white grapes) and then we walked to the area where they juice the grapes, ferment (some... More

We went for an art class at the winery. It was really fun and of course the wine was good. When we left they had a band outside. Would have loved to stay.

We went in January, it was too cold to walk around outside. We did the tasting and waited for the tour while we drank a bottle of wine. We brought a little picnic lunch with us.

I attended the safari themed girl’s night out event and it was really nice. We were greeted upon entry by a very friendly lady where we signed in and received our band and tickets. From there we walked outside to where several vendors were set up. The table decorations were nice and from what I could see of the vineyard... More

Since I live in Houston I'm always on the lookout for good wine or wineries within driving distance. Haak Vineyard and Winery is south of town in Santa Fe. Just a few miles off Highway 6 it seems to be in the middle of nowhere. I like that. You get a real sense of country. We went on a Saturday... More

We have visited the Haak winery on several occasions, mainly for the Saturday or Sunday evening music events. They have a very nice pavilion which is not bad for dancing, and the entertainment is typically really good. It's a place for families as well as a gathering place for friends. They have a good selection of food and snacks which... More
