Very nice place & beautiful cars with history

You are able to get close enough to the cars and learn the history of each vehicle. I was very intrigued to see a Tucker Torpedo because my son is named Tucker. We were able to... read more

Enjoyable visit to Dick's Classic Garage. Beautiful collection of antique automobiles. Would have enjoyed seeing some cars into the 60's and 70's, but I understand that this is an older collection. Favorite car was the 1957 Thunderbird, BEAUTIFUL! Prices in the gift shop were high. Would have considered purchasing a couple of items, but they were really overpriced. Otherwise, enjoyed... More

You are able to get close enough to the cars and learn the history of each vehicle. I was very intrigued to see a Tucker Torpedo because my son is named Tucker. We were able to eat a catered meal in the garage and it made for very nice dining. Highly recommend this to others to visit. It was a... More

We loved the cars on display, they really take excellent care of the whole place and every vehicle. No dust, restrooms clean, staff friendly. Our second visit, and just as good as the first time. Thanks, Dick!

This is an amazing collection of classics cars, a definite must see..excellent staff who made time to chat to my husband and I as we where from the UK, asking about our trip, where we where heading and where we had been. We went early when it opened at 10 and practically had the place to ourselves..it was brilliant, I... More

There was some very rare cars. Have a Tucker, and a Dusenburg that was once at the bottom of the ocean. If you love classic cars you will not want to miss this museum. I have been to many car museums and this is indeed one of the best.

This was one of the best museums I have ever visited. The collection of beautiful cars was so impressive by itself, but to add to the enjoyment was the collection of vintage bicycles, pedal cars, hood ornaments, and nostalgic music. Someone has painted murals representing a time line above the cars, so you have a historical perspective as well. I... More

Beautiful selection! Bring your camera! Some of your regular favorites, but lots of unique cars. The Tucker was spectacular!

For the person that said "dump" your significant other...shame on you! Lol.These cars are magnificent!! Their beauty can't be described, even on paper!! The history alone is fascinating, especially the Tucker, and almost anyone would enjoy looking at them, even grandkids. Six of us went, from 62 to 9 years old and every one of us loved it!!! I can't... More

This is a nice refreshing change from "hill country stuff". The car collection was very good and the facilities were well taken care of.

I was staying in Austin at the time when I visited here and I have to say it's a must-see for anyone driving through the San Marcos area. It's not a massive garage, but I'd estimate it houses around a hundred vehicles that range from the early 1920s through to the late 1960s. They're all beautifully kept and clearly loved,... More
