The cars are beautiful, the location easy to find and the service was great. Next time we are in town I'm sure we'll stop by again.
Thanks for visiting! Glad you could enjoy the museum. See you again soon!

The Dick's Classic Garage is a must-see for old car lovers if you are ever in the San Marcos, TX area. The owner of this collection used to have a much bigger collection of cars about an hour SE of Austin but that museum has been closed.
Thank you for your review! Great picture of our lobby too! We change our lobby seasonally so come back and see a new set up soon.

This was part of my husbands birthday weekend trip. He completely loved seeing all 75 of the wonderful old cars on display. His favorite was the 1931 Cadillac, wow quite a car. I enjoyed it as much as he did.
I found out about Dick's Classic Garage by picking up a brochure in the hotel lobby where we were staying in San Antonio. As soon as I saw it, I knew it was something that my husband would HAVE to do...and I am so glad that we did. The usual price for adults is $10 each, but the brochure had...

This visit was one of the highlights of our visit to Austin for Grand Prix weekend. The cars are beautifully restored works of art. They follow a time line and the history of the era and the car is well described on the placards. I ran out of space on my camera taking pictures! The cars run thru 1960. No...

Prior to the first Formula One race in Austin my husband and I ventured south to dicks garage . Great collection of beautiful car that run you through an educational stroll of auto history. Fun memorabilia from scat cars to bicycles.
This museum's collection is fantastic. Beautifully restored American made cars from an era when cars made a definite statement about the owner's wealth and taste. Our group of 4 was thoroughly delighted by the rows for gleaming vehicles and found the information plaques full of interesting details about each model. Admission was amazingly inexpensive given the number and quality of...

These vehicles look like they just rolled off the assembly line and are kept spotless. The museum is obviously a labor of love, not a tourist attraction. I would not take small children as absolutely no touching of the cars is allowed. Each of these vehicles are no doubt worth hundreds of thousand of dollars. The tires are all inflated...

We spent there about two hours. Well maintained US cars with US focus. A superb Tucker, Duesenbergs and woodies. All in running condition. Gives a good view into mobilized USA until the sixties. Very clean and bright museum with an interesting shop. Worth a stop when you travel around Austin. Near I35.
