I Took my daughters who are 9 and 4 years old here. There are a few small activities, we went on the train ride fed some deer, they have a variety of birds and fainting goats as well. The ride is very short but it was entertaining. We went to the anti gravity house it was interesting another quick activity.... More

The locals in San Marcos always say it is called Wonder World because you go there then wonder why you went. This is true to some extent as could definitely use some renovations and they need to repair or replace the observation deck however the cave is cool and the guides are excellent. If you are looking to go back... More

OK, so we went here because as a kid, we would always pass the billboards proclaiming Wonder World Park and ALL of its awesomeness. We went over New Years weekend, and it was cold and wet, so keep that in mind. Overall, the cave is actually pretty cool, and our guide was funny and interactive with the kids. So, I... More

This is a small place. You Might want to call ahead to see if they are open. We were in the are so we drove by in the morning but they let us know it would open at 10 am which was an hour wait for us. There is a snack stand and a gift shop with activities for younger... More

We have visited multiple times with our grandchildren. They always enjoy the wildlife park ride. The Cavern tour guides are informative and entertaining!

Wanna know why it's called Wonder World? Because after you go, you wonder why you went! No, seriously, Wonder World is the most awesome 50/50 cool/cheesy roadside attraction that used to make family cross country travel so much fun. These places are disappearing because people want perfect and canned "amazing" experiences. Wonder World is what the American Roadside used to... More

Nice way to get your kids to see caves/caverns up close and personal and experience them rather than just read about them in books. Also has a nice little train ride and a gift shop.

My little ones loved their visit. They are nearly 4 and 2 and this was just their speed. Make sure little ones wear sneakers and if anyone is claustrophobic I'd just skip the cave potion. They did mention that the hours change with the seasons, so it might be a good idea to call ahead to check on the date... More

My 8 year old grandson loved it. I didn't make it down the steps into the cave. My wife confirmed it was close quarters after that. Glad I opted out. We did enjoy the 120 foot tower and we all loved the train ride through the animal park and feeding the deer. My grandson even got to pan for rocks... More
