A fun way to spend about an hour or so. We had a great guide who share some really interesting stories about the women who actually lived and worked here. The stories were varied and really helped us to see them as real women with real struggles. I was surprised at the amount of original items including furniture and the... More

We had a knowledgeable guide who told us all about the place. If you're going to San Angelo, this is a must.

That is, if you want to get your history on. Not for that other reason! I've been here a couple of times. Different tour guides have different stories and ways of telling them about this historical landmark. Definitely something to see if you are in the area and are interested in the way real folks had to make their way... More

Air conditioning was down, so the tour was free. Kinda glad, because I may have been disappointed. There were a lot of people so the tour guide simply let us roam the rooms and read the descriptions. She provided random interesting information. It was alright. Perhaps when you go, call ahead and make sure the A/C is working.

Step back into time in this bordello turned museum. Check out 'the girls" rooms and visualize the life of a bordello gal. Most of the rooms have the original furniture and I found it sad to see the baby cradle at the end of one of the beds. Go to Legend Jewelry next door to get a ticket and a... More

Loads of fun, but make sure you're ready to discuss what a bordello is with kids if you take them. It really was one and it's an inherently important part of the museum. Not a great huge full-day experience, but fun and engaging. Great for a local stop.

This was a quick tour of an old Bordello. The tour guide gave some interesting information, such as Miss Hattie still made the girls go to church every Sunday. We went into each of the rooms and I was given some information about each girl that worked there. Ticket prices were a little steep for only a 20 minute tour,... More

We really enjoyed the tour of Miss Hatties. It was interesting and a very well kept museum. The hostess was friendly and we were the only ones taking the tour. So we were able to get more one on one time to ask questions. The tours are at specific times and the tickets cost $6.00 per person. There is a... More

Visiting is by scheduled tour only and you have to go to the jewelry store below the bordello to get your tickets and meet for the tour. The tour guide was very informative and had a good knowledge of the bordello. Although some of the items displayed are not original many are and after 50+ years since the bordello closed... More

This place is preserved and authentic! It is a very realistic look back at the times and shows a lot of what life in those times was really like. The rooms remain as they were and you can walk through and see everything, along with photos and informational documents on the walls. A very interesting visit!
