There were four of us tasting today. FIrst one we tried was the Lemon and Lime wines. OMG made from lemons and limes from the Valley area of Texas. Tasted just like the fruit. Very citriusy. Three of us ended up with 3 bottles of various wines, plus some other fun things they had for sale. Will definitely have them... More

They have a huge selection for wine and the people are so knowledgeable. I have tried some wines that I thought I would not like and end up buying them. They really work with you and give you great suggestions. They also have a beer section that my husband enjoys. I have joined their wind club and have never been... More

Enjoyed the wine tasting with hubby. Only one server on the wine side on Saturday afternoon. It was quite busy and had to wait quite a while to get next tasting. He did give you his attention though, when it was your turn. Very overpriced on purchasing wines. I guess maybe It is my fault, but I think of winery... More

Was a cute little wine tasting room then added a beer tasting side. Used to have great service and fun feeling. I have been to many vineyards and many tasting rooms but this one is missing the human factor that the good ones have. Little pricey for what it really is. Sorry but on to another location to find as... More

Chupacabra Craft Beer side: The beer selection is good but my goodness a pint of beer is over $6.00. As I was there I noticed dead bugs inside on the window ledges & on the floor. This place could use a good cleaning. Salado Winery & Vineyard: The name states "Winery & Vineyard". There is no vineyard here & it's... More

Awesome selection of Texas-only craft beer! They're currently at 20 taps, with plans to expand to 36 taps soon. Stop in and see Jon and Rachel, Chupacabra is attached to Salado Lone Star Winery. Just became a member of the Centurion Mug Club!

My daughter wanted to stop here on our girls trip. There was a bridal party having a blast while we were there. Wine tasting cost 5 tastes for $10. We stood at the bar for our tastings. The bar tender gave us some free tastes of the Lemon and Lime wines. They were interesting and good. She was very attentive... More

Enjoyed the wines at this winery. Would have liked a little more conversation from the owner about the wines, but will go back.

We enjoyed this winery - A little pricey compared to the Wine Seller (the only other winery in Salado) but we appreciated the friendlier service at this winery over the Seller.
