We have a year pass, which is very inexpensive. 15 or 20, I think? We have been visiting since my kids were small. (They are now 14 and 16) The park is great for a quick day trip. The water is shallow for quite a ways out, so little kids are less of a worry. Please, keep an eye on... More

We are the only Blue Wave Beach in Texas. You will feel safe to bring your children here to play in the water and enjoy the beach. However, please remember to leave it as you found it, CLEAN and free from your trash. It's a shame you have to tell people to pick up their Trash, but you do. Keep... More

Great place to spend time in Rockport. This is a bay beach, not a gulf beach, so don't go expecting huge waves. Great for small kids getting used to beach. There a re playscapes, pavilions with tables and BBQ grilles, or you can just pitch a canopy right in the sand.

My family and I loved this beach! It is a Blue Wave Beach - the beach was clean. There are bathrooms and showers - that were clean and well maintained. You could walk out in the water for over 100 yards and still only be up to your knees. The water was warm. The waves were calm and not pounding... More

It was beautiful but extremely windy the day we went. Hard on the baby so we couldn't stay long. Next summer we will get to hang out!!

Cleanest beach I've ever seen. A Blue wave designated beach. Volleyball, kids playground. Even saw a dolphin almost close enough to touch.

Suggest going very early in the morning. We made it to town about 1pm on a Saturday. I wasn't sure we were going to find a place to park. Once we made it to the beach it was packed but there was plenty of space to go around. I did not feel crowded or like we were invading anyone's space.... More

Very windy the day we were here. Lots of space on the beach even with it being a summer weekend and very busy. Sand is a mixture of sand and pebbles that is easy on your feet. Very easy to swim in bay as the water is no more than waist deep for at least a few hundred yards off... More
