This is one of the very best beach parks I have ever been to with little ones. It's clean, well maintained, and so family friendly. You can safely walk quite far out into the water (with little or no wave action) which is a real treat for children and parents alike. There are plenty of clean restroom facilities and picnic... Had never been here before but heard it was better than Port A beach and in our opinion that is correct. Nominal fee to get in. It is kept nicely and has a clean beach, lots of shaded picnic shelters and smaller beach shade shelters as well. No glass containers allowed so that helps. There is a large pavilion with... More

Great for families with children. Lots of fun for the small child. Hiking trail and a boat ramp. A must for those who want to go bird watching.

great beach and nice place to relax. the water won't go above your waist no matter how far youi go. no big waves either. so pitch an umbrella and sit in the water for hours. be mindful of the stinging jelly fish though!!

Bottom line, the beach is so clean. Never been disappointed here. The kids love the place. And so do I. Guess that's why we make the trip every year.

Super close to our hotel Lighthouse Inn. No water shoes needed...not many rocks or debris in water. Shallow and great for kids. You could walk pretty far out.

We've been going to Rockport for years! Love the beautiful bay system of our Texas coast. The beach is great for family's since it's a bay and not the ocean. There are no dangerous waves or currents. Water is usually crystal clear unless you catch it on a windy day.
