There is an admission fee: $5/day or $15/year. The gate closes around 7 pm. It's very clean, and very pretty.

Nice walk looks great for families when hotter. Great facilities. Plenty of space. Convenient and lots of parking.

This is a great family area with little or no wave action. The beach is clean but we always take a bag to carry out any debris that washes up on the beach. Park your car at the gate and walk in and you don't have to pay the $5

Beautiful location. Sure would be nice, even if they were available to rent, to have some type of beach chair available.

Wonderful place to picnic and barbeque right on the beach with very clean faciilities. We kayak and fish and picnic at this park and always have a really good time. At $15/year (I think that's right) what a bargain.

Beach is well kept. Water is shallow a very, long way out, safe for young ones. The annual pass is a steal. If you are going to use the beach more than 3 day over the year you save money too. Waves are very minimal.

Looooong shallows. We were able to walk out quite a way without getting in up to our knees. Since it was February and not hot yet, we were happy to just get our ankles wet. This is a beautiful beach. Very clean. Watched two dolphins swim by just past the shallows. Several people were fishing on the pier, and we... More

On the day of our visit it was a little too chilly to truly appreciate, but the waters seem to be tranquil. Also the water seemed clean and a pretty grey blue (even on a cool drizzly day). Seeing the World's Largest Blue Crab was so amusing. It is a statue of course. Hope to return for a visit in... More
