5 dollars a day or 15 dollars for a year pass. Two bathhouses with showers and over 100 portapotties. 50 grills to cook on with picnic tables and 50 umbrellas to use. Water was warm with no real waves. Go to walmart and pick up a floating device and enjoy the day.

Beautiful beach area in South Texas. Great for everyone in the family! Easy to find just bring your picnic lunch and stay all day. There are bamboo umbrellas to get out of the sun for a while and tables to eat on.

Rockport is an awesome little beach town. It has a great beach and the water is better than in Galveston. Definitely worth the drive to see it and spend the day - or week!

Very picturesque, very clean as far as beaches go. There were ice cream vendors and a BBQ stand right there on the beach. We were there on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't too crowded. They provide many different spots with shade and picnic tables and grills. Even had some Palm tree leaf umbrellas on the beach itself. Get there... More

We enjoyed Rockport Beach this past weekend. It was our first visit, but won't be our last. The facilities are clean and the beach is well managed. The water had a green hue and you could see 3ft or so down pretty well. The waves were small and you could go out a long ways before you ever got above... More

Great place for kids and family. Nice clean beach with lots of shelters. Salt water pool is ideal for the youngsters. Boat launch is good, with adequate parking, also a couple of hand launch spots. downside, you have to walk a long way out to hit water above your waist!
