We actually chartered a boat from Woodys for a memorial service to release the ashes of a family member. They were so awesome. They apparently do this often and had an idea for us that worked out perfectly. We also saw Dolphins in The bay on the way to the lighthouse. Really appreciated the staff.

While on vacation, we drove from Corpus Christi to Port A to rent jet ski's and go on dolphin tour. I asked early in the AM and was told there were plenty of spaces available on the afternoon tour and the jet skis we're going, but still available. We discussed as a family that it sounded fun, so I tried... More

Worst experience ever paid 1400 to catch fish. The only thing is they fish we sat there and watch him hook a fish then call one of us to bring it in that's not fishing. And there was 5 of us there but they only let 4 of us fish crazy. Then they ask us if we wanted to go... More

A month in advance I had reserved a 6 hour deep sea fishing trip for Friday July 3rd, 2015 on a 31' boat with AC for $1250. July 2nd I get a call the boat is broken, my options are a $1350 boat without AC for the same afternoon or Saturday morning. I complained about the $100 increase and lack... More

Took our daughter on the morning tour and it was amazing. Dozens of dolphins close by and few even jumping out of the water. Drove a bit and was attacked by pirates with water canons. My 6 year old daughter got a bit scared thinking it was real for a few moments before seeing it was just a fun water... More

This was one of the best attractions on Port A!!! We took the sunset dolphin tour out of Woody's Sports Center and were beyond pleased. The tour guide was awesome!! T-Joe has quite a story about being attacked by a shark that was caught on a fishing boat he was working on. A drag net was dropped for ten minutes... More

We went on a dolphin watch trip. The dolphins were wonderful. We went on the 7 o'clock trip and got to see the sunset behind a gorgeous lighthouse. The deckhand drug a net for a few minutes and then dumped the contents (fish, shells, rays, etc.) into a viewing/petting tank. It was a great experience and worth every penny. The... More

Positives: friendly crew, you can bring your own cooler and food, only $45/person Negatives: We left 30 minutes late while we waited for crew family members to arrive. Not actual crew, just some family members that wanted to fish but didn't show up on time. Excusable until the rest of the trip happened. We spent 3 of the 4 hours... More

Normal fishing charter situation. They have guides for small boats and larger "tourist" type fishing. Half day trips are not as good as full day trips since the Gulf does not get deep until a good distance out. Make sure you understand the rules and issues related to Snapper fishing. Amberjack , Grouper and Tuna are best, Kingfish fun to... More

We went out on a old ferry boat for a bay trip, and the crew and the staff were great. John and Will were the deck hands and were right on top when you hollarredd"FISH ON". They are very professional and take time to work with kids and inexperienced fisherman. The fishing was good and fun. The prices are VERY... More
