This was one of the best attractions on Port A!!! We took the sunset dolphin tour out of Woody's Sports Center and were beyond pleased. The tour guide was awesome!! T-Joe has quite a story about being attacked by a shark that was caught on a fishing boat he was working on. A drag net was dropped for ten minutes... More

We went on a dolphin watch trip. The dolphins were wonderful. We went on the 7 o'clock trip and got to see the sunset behind a gorgeous lighthouse. The deckhand drug a net for a few minutes and then dumped the contents (fish, shells, rays, etc.) into a viewing/petting tank. It was a great experience and worth every penny. The... More

Positives: friendly crew, you can bring your own cooler and food, only $45/person Negatives: We left 30 minutes late while we waited for crew family members to arrive. Not actual crew, just some family members that wanted to fish but didn't show up on time. Excusable until the rest of the trip happened. We spent 3 of the 4 hours... More

Normal fishing charter situation. They have guides for small boats and larger "tourist" type fishing. Half day trips are not as good as full day trips since the Gulf does not get deep until a good distance out. Make sure you understand the rules and issues related to Snapper fishing. Amberjack , Grouper and Tuna are best, Kingfish fun to... More

We went out on a old ferry boat for a bay trip, and the crew and the staff were great. John and Will were the deck hands and were right on top when you hollarredd"FISH ON". They are very professional and take time to work with kids and inexperienced fisherman. The fishing was good and fun. The prices are VERY... More

I guess you can't really call it a fishing trip if you never get to go. Booked a private charter and after waking up to arrive at the docs promptly at 6 am.... Dusty never showed up. Apparently dusty lives over an hour away because the staff kept rudly telling us he was on his way, but never arrived. Don't... More

After going to sleep early, waking up at 5am, and getting to the dock at 6am for a (supposed) 6:30am departure time for our fishing trip, our guide never showed. Waited until 7 and he still hadn't arrived. While the people at Woody's did refund the trip, they were unfriendly and not helpful. Didn't make up for our time lost... More

Great Time. Captain Bill was great! The Captian had us on Big Redfish in less than 20 minutes. Will was great also. Will was very polite, respectful, professional, friendly. We had a great time. Thank You for a wonderful and exciting fish trip on the water

Call Woody's and book the evening sunset Dolphin Cruise. We left at 6:30 and within several hundreds yards of the dock were seeing a lot of dolphins. We saw a large number of adults and babies. The Shrimp Trawl at the end was great. The kids enjoyed seeing all of the fish species. Well worth the money.

Lots of fun, and saw plenty of dolphins on the 90 minute tour. We liked that the boat followed the dolphins rather than a set schedule. The crew was especially kind to our 9-year-old, who was stung by a bee halfway through.
