We were told it would be about 50/50 fishing and travel. Not exactly true. It took about 3+ hours to get to the fishing spot, then we only fished (Drift fishing) for 1 1/2... read more

Our group of 6 went on the morning bay fishing trip. Saw tons of dolphins on the way out ot the marina. No one was catching much at the first spot we stopped at so the captain moved us to another location. That spot was full of hardhead catfish which we all threw back. Another move and we were in... Shoulder to shoulder. Deck hands spent most of the time untangling lines and relining rods. Worst fishing experience I have ever had.Don't waste your money. Food on board was a joke, very misleading. Packaged sandwiches from Walmart.

First of all, let me say this was our 2nd time out with this company. 1st time was good (Nov 2014), so we decided to book an 8 hr trip this year. We spent 7 of the 8 hours traveling around in the boat. When we stopped to fish, the Captain said everyone fish off the right side of the... More

We had the incredible good fortune to have been referred to Mark Jones as a Bay Fishing Guide. We met him at Deep Sea at 7AM and returned by about 1:30 that afternoon. The only thing we had to bring were any snacks we might need and our beverages. During our time out, Mark was great! He worked really hard... More

It took about 3+ hours to get to the fishing spot, then we only fished (Drift fishing) for 1 1/2 hours, then it was time to go back. UGH. The waters were VERY choppy. What a waist of money. Spent $400 dollars for 6 people and couldn't even fish. They take 39 people and and you are shoulder to shoulder. The fishing lines cross and it's a big mess. Don't waste your money.

I have been fishing with these guys several times and this last experience was probably the best given that there was over 20 of us along. Boat staff was friendly and helpful, I think everyone in our group caught several fish each (of course we had to throw most of them back because they were'nt in season yet!) We all... More

My family frequently comes to Port A and we have been on many fishing trips and this was by far the WORST EVER! Two hours out to sea and an hour of 40 passengers dropping lines shoulder to shoulder on one side of the boat as the boat drifted off the shadow of anchored shrimp boats, and then a two... More

We chartered the entire boat, and was very disappointed, the fishing was very bad and we only moved a couple of time and only about a hundred yards each time. The captain and deck hand seemed content to just sit and talk to each other on the deck rather than tring to find the fish or at least put in... More

Service wasn't very friendly when I went there. Cool store, and not bad prices, but the customer service was slightly rude.
