Service

Service wasn't very friendly when I went there. Cool store, and not bad prices, but the customer service was slightly rude.

What a waist of money. Spent $400 dollars for 6 people and couldn't even fish. They take 39 people and and you are shoulder to shoulder. The fishing lines cross and it's a big mess. Don't waste your money.

I have been fishing with these guys several times and this last experience was probably the best given that there was over 20 of us along. Boat staff was friendly and helpful, I think everyone in our group caught several fish each (of course we had to throw most of them back because they were'nt in season yet!) We all... More

My family frequently comes to Port A and we have been on many fishing trips and this was by far the WORST EVER! Two hours out to sea and an hour of 40 passengers dropping lines shoulder to shoulder on one side of the boat as the boat drifted off the shadow of anchored shrimp boats, and then a two... More

We chartered the entire boat, and was very disappointed, the fishing was very bad and we only moved a couple of time and only about a hundred yards each time. The captain and deck hand seemed content to just sit and talk to each other on the deck rather than tring to find the fish or at least put in... More

We booked the 5 hour deep sea trip but it was cancelled so we did the 3 1/2 hour bay trip instead. When they re-booked us on the different trip we asked what people had been catching on the bay trips and they said sand trout, black drum and small sharks. Well....there was about 30 people on this trip and... More

Boat ride out was choppy, but who can control that? 8 hour fishing trip was just perfect in timing. All members of our party caught the allowed Red Snapper maximum (2). Two crew members, John and Lloyd, worked their butts off helping reel in and tag the fish. We were not so lucky with the King Fish. Only some caught... More

Went on Red Snapper trip on June 6 with Deep Sea Headquarters on the Pelican. The captain (Clint) and deckhands (Lloyd and John) were awesome! They were very professional, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They worked hard keeping everybody fishing, bringing in fish and then unloading them after. It was my first trip and I had a really great time and... More

We use to go every year on a private charter and had stopped due to a captain that did not do his job, I decided to try them again this year and take our grown kids, two of our grandsons and friends and, even though it was rough and had some sick folks, had a great trip. The deck hands... More
