The beach was pretty clean, lots of families, joggers, bike-riders, campers up and down the beach. The water was cold and pretty clear. Listening to the ocean waves was exactly what I was looking for!

We love the broad sandy beach at Port Aransas. The water may not be always clear or blue but it is a wonderful walking beach. There is an occasional problem with seaweed, but not now! Love the fall in Port Aransas! Come enjoy the beautiful Texas beaches.

We came during the off season, so there was not as many people there as would be other times. I was really impressed on how clean the beach is and how well it was taken care of. There are plenty of change stations, restrooms, trash cans, and showers on this beach. Port A really does a great job at taking... More

Seaweed was all cleaned up. The water was clear and blue. What is not to love about this place. Going back in April.

We liked seeing the beach drive, and wondering along the shore. No shade but enormous panorama. Warning from locals, on hot days snakes in dunes. Not seen any when we were there having walked through before we knew.

I love the beach. Driving was good while we were there. A bunch of seaweed, but not bad where they clean the beach.

Yes there is seaweed. However, it was obvious that the beach was cleaned on a daily basis and it's just ridiculous to expect no seaweed when the whole coast of Texas has been affected by this... If you can't deal with this you should probably go to Florida or California. Compared to other beaches in TX this is pretty good.... More
