The jetty at Port Aransas beach is an excellent place to see the dolphins in the evening. We went there after 7:00 and saw three pods come in and play in the bay off of the jetty. Wear very good shoes, because the jetty is a compilation of huge flat boulders stuck next to each other to make a break... More

Clean. Could walk our dog on a leash. Fair price to park on the beach. Close walking distance to our hotel. Family centered. Nice restaurants at the marina.

This is a city or maybe county beach which you can drive on. It was clean and well maintained and not crowded before spring break.

The beach was really nice! No sea weed! Not over crowded & restrooms near by. I so enjoyed our time @ the beach. The only yucky thing was finding dog poop @ the beach :/

WOW! The City of Port Aransas really cleaned up the beaches. I recently went down for Spring Break and was expecting the awful fishy stench and seaweed mounds that I had experienced the past two summers. Imagine my shock when the beaches were completely spotless. No seaweed any where. The beaches had been combed and seaweed was all gone. It... More

Soaked up some rays, napped, cooked hot dogs, S'mores & warmed our toes by the fire. Beautiful day at the beach!

My wife and I spent one of the most relaxing weeks of the winter just sitting on the beach. We were there off season and there very few of us sitting or walking along the beach. From the road (which is sand) to the water is about 500 or 600 feet. The beach is miles and miles wide and is... More

Disappointing. We are not fans of beaches you can drive on, no matter how wide they are. The pier is nice though.

I see that this is rated number 2 of things to do in Port A...I really can't imagine what number 2 can be. Love this place.
