This is located in the upscale area of Plano with great dining choices nearby, all easy walking distance from Movie Center. Right off Dallas Tollway, parking garage within walking for all the amenities. Film Center tends to offer the artsy type films not the blockbuster that other theaters offer. This is a very clean upbeat, safe place to stroll around.

I prefer the Angelika Film Center to any of the chain theaters, by far. They have the movies that no one else shows. We'll go there for a movie we never heard of, just because the movie is at the Angelika.

I like everything about this film center, its location, its atmosphere, its small theaters and the fact that they serve wine to enjoy with the movie. Its clean and the seats are very comfortable.

I saw Philamina at the Angelika with some friends. The seats were very comfy and it was very clean. The movie was excellent. We had a nice experience. Would definitely suggest it for everyone.

We were looking for a place that showed Fruitvale Station and were directed here. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but upon entrance, the place is pretty big, welcoming, and quaint. Service was personable. I liked that they served wine at the popcorn booth. Would come again.

Great departure from the big name cinemas. The employees seemed to be more polished than the big name cinemas -- as they were older than the normal teenage cinema employee. The facility was clean. The chairs were comfotable. The picture quality was very good as was the sound.

Not sure what Terry W. is talking about. I was in the theater during the same showing. The person in question had an electronic cigarette - the ones that emit water vapor. I'll say that again - WATER VAPOR. Not smoke. I'm not entirely sure just how susceptible to cancer Terry is, but if water vapor causes him cancer, then... More

Good seating, good parking, and great service. Park across the street, and then eat in the area. This is the movie house that we go to whenever we want to see a movie

Great place to catch a movie mid-day and solo during the week. Small theaters, just a handful of attendees, yummy popcorn (no butter). Tickets are a bit more expensive than large chain theaters, but it's worth it to be able to see movies that don't go mainstream.
