At the Angelika you will see movies that don't make it to bigger places or are foreign made. That does not mean that these are not good ejoyable movies. Prices are a wee bit higher but you can have a glass of wine or a beer if you so desire. A good place to enjoy an escape experience whether during... More

Angelika is unique. It is not one of the massive movie theatres that dominate the land, instead it is a gem of a theatre where beer and wine are offered before entering the well appointed theatre with extremely comfortable seats and ample screens. As one of the locals living within walking distance we appreciate Angelika for the selection of artistic... More

The Angelika Movie Theater shows both wide distribution and some of your lesser known, but popular, movies. A very comfortable theater, but the evenings still in full swing once is the movie is over and you hit The Shops on Legacy for dinner, So many excellent restaurants... I like Nicola's, Half Shell's and The Bakery on the south side of... More

It is a more laid back atmosphere than your typical mainstream theater. The dining/bar area is very nice and makes for a great place to wait for your performance. Situated in the Shops of Legacy makes for an added benefit with all the other restaurants, bars, action, etc.

We go to the Angelika at Legacy and love the films they get. You usually can't see them at other theaters so we know, if we want to see them on the big screen, we need to see them when they are showing there.

This theater has very good popcorn and comfortable seats. You can find movies that are outside the mainstream and I like that the individual theaters are not too large.

I like it that you can get a beer with you movie. Higher priced than most theaters, but that's ok, great location.

Cool ambiance, and you can have a glass of wine or a beer with your movie. They also feature live simulcasts of operas, ballets, and plays, like the National Theatre of England and Shakespeare productions staged in Stratford on Avon.

The only reason we go to Angelika is because they feature more independent films. They are not more comfotable, they do not have state of the art screens or sound systems, their seats don't even recline and their concessions are way over priced. The people working there are rude. There is nothing special about Angelika film centers.

This very special venue shows the best films in a unique and relaxing environment. Looking for the latest foreign films, independent films, and award-nominated masterpieces? This theater is likely to have them! It's in a modern, glass-walled building. Unless the tiny ticket counter is open downstairs, you'll make your way upstairs to purchase your tickets from the attendants behind the... More
