I like it that you can get a beer with you movie. Higher priced than most theaters, but that's ok, great location.

Cool ambiance, and you can have a glass of wine or a beer with your movie. They also feature live simulcasts of operas, ballets, and plays, like the National Theatre of England and Shakespeare productions staged in Stratford on Avon.

The only reason we go to Angelika is because they feature more independent films. They are not more comfotable, they do not have state of the art screens or sound systems, their seats don't even recline and their concessions are way over priced. The people working there are rude. There is nothing special about Angelika film centers.

This very special venue shows the best films in a unique and relaxing environment. Looking for the latest foreign films, independent films, and award-nominated masterpieces? This theater is likely to have them! It's in a modern, glass-walled building. Unless the tiny ticket counter is open downstairs, you'll make your way upstairs to purchase your tickets from the attendants behind the... More

We enjoyed the personnel and the movie. However, the popcorn is below average. We have visited here several times and the popcorn is consistently poor.

Right in the middle of the Legacy town center area, with hip restaurants and shops, this is the best place to go see some of the independent or foreign films. They have more than just popcorn and candy to eat, and they even sell wine. Fun date night.

The Angelika film center is located in an European-like center where one can walk, shop, eat, listen to music, enjoy a beautiful fountain in a safe, elegant setting. The theater itself is comfortable, airy, with nice seating and offering a variety of "artsy" movies that are not Hollywood run-of-the-mill type. Going during the week, instead of weekends, makes finding a... More

Loved the smaller theaters and the option of alcoholic drinks. Great for girls night out or a date with the hubby.

There are many excellent venues for movies in the Plano TX area, but the Angelika is a special place . . . always the best selection of movies! Prices are high, but reasonable. I don't know how they can advertise a "cafe" because I've never seen that -- but the popcorn is fresh!

We wanted to see the latest John Le Carre film starring the late, great American actor, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, while we were in the Dallas, Texas area last week. We were more than delighted to find that it was playing at the Angelika Film Center in Plano, Texas. This really was a wonderful treat for me since I haven't been... More
