Visited this attraction on the fly. Due to weather we could not fly back home as planned so we enjoyed Dallas and surroundings. Having seen a couple episodes of the series when it was aired in Europe we thought this might be a nice opportunity to visit the location. Behind the gift shop a little walk of fame is created... If your a old or new "DALLAS" fan you will enjoy your visit. Give yourself a good two hours to take the tour and walk the grounds. It starts out by you entering the gift shop where you purchase your tour ticket. The ticket with tax cost me $16.09 to be exact. Then you walk thru a mini museum about... More

My husband and I went last week. I grew up watching the original Dallas show and had always wanted to visit the place. When you get there there is a museum you can walk through that has a lot of photos and information. Then you get on a tram that takes you to the house. While on the team the... More

We were big fans of the show, at least up until the "it was just a dream" ploy to bring Bobby back to life. It was great to see the familiar house, though it seemed tiny compared to the way it looked on TV. The tour guide explained that the show used camera angles, film loops and even mirrors to... More

Was a fun thing to do. We actually won the admission in a contest and we went sort of as a joke. Let me tell you, it was a fun time. Well worth the trip.

This was a big disappointment to us. I was a big fan of the show, so really wanted to go here. After you pay and get on the tram to be taken to the house, you are told the show wasn't even filmed there. The inside of the house is not the same house they used for the show. You... More

I drove to southfork from Dallas it was simply amazing, a reall trip into memory lane. I grew up on Dallas the hit series in the 80s. It was just like I remembered. When you arrive, you are immediately greated by the staff, they are all helpful, and respectful of the environement. Tours of the ranch leave very often so... More

What a brilliant place to visit! Friendly, knowledgable staff, history and the ranch itself. Open access to the house with a tour given by Sally. JR's bedroom and the set where JR met his end in Mexico. Really enjoyed the visit!

As a fan of the show, one of my ultimate stops in Dallas was Southfork Ranch. Since the show has been rebooted recently, it was a delight to see that the new show also films on this property. Going through the house and also the Dallas Museum helped this fan's experience to be complete. It was an enjoyable tour and... More
