I went to SF and I was somewhat disappointed. The place is in disrepair, the tractor trailer/tram has rust and duct tape on it and the pool was dirty. The grounds had weeds and mud when was the last time this place got landscaped? It also cracked roads and walk ways. This is supposed to be SF? Shame on Forever... More

My husband and I took a morning on our recent return to Dallas (my hometown) to visit SouthFork Ranch. This used to be out in the country, but is just north of the growing suburbs now. It was fun to see where the series "Dallas" had been filmed and view the grounds. Tour guides were excellent and after touring the house,... More

We enjoyed our short stay at the Southfork ranch. It brought back a lot of memories of the TV show, and the personalities on the show. Nice short tour, and then you can wander. Have never seen the new show, but this chance to see the house was fun.

Having watched the original series, this was a must do while in the area. I had been warned by other folks who had visited previously that it was MUCH smaller than what it seemed on t.v. They were correct! Staff was friendly. We had a beer at Miss Ellie's Deli and took some fun pictures around the ranch.

I am a big fan of Dallas TV show old and new. It was always a dream to visit Southfork. Myself and my husband Scott decided to go for my 40th Birthday. My 40th was the 22nd November 2012. Was unable to visit that day as closed for Thanksgiving. We came on the 20th November. We came to Dallas for... More

I had no idea (and I actually work in television) that the old series "Dallas" was syndicated to over 90 countries. It might be over 100 if all of the former Soviet republics are taken into consideration. This was what was fascinating to me about this history of the show. My wife is from Kazakhstan, the largest (by area) of... More

Southfork---DALLAS---but it is not in Dallas. It is in Parker TX. just outside of Dallas. If you are/were a fan of the show it is worth a visit if you are in the area. Lots of Dallas memorabilia. House and property well kept, Jock Ewing's car is kept there as well but they don't drive it it's not kept running... More

Actually we only deciced to go to the Ranch, take some pictures from the outside and go on. But then we changed our mind and went on the mansion tour which was really cool. I have not watched the old Dallas series, only the new ones and I got really impressed by the whole farm. you could walk into the... More

I don't watch Dallas, never have. But I know the name J R Ewing as well as anyone. I was dragged here and expected nothing. What I got was a very pleasant time thanks to some down home tour guides who told me everything I needed to know about this ranch right down to the capped oil well that sits... More

Did not see the WOW FACTOR that I was expecting. Just ordinary farm. Didn't go in house. Maybe would have been more impressed.
