If you're a Dallas fan then this is a must for you. Really good to see the ranch and where the exterior shots were filmed. Seeing the pool where JR and Cliff fought on the pool and Kristen was found brought back loads of memories. Plenty of reminders in the museum especially the family tree.

Really interesting day out if a fan of Dallas also nice to get out of the city, about 45 mins from Dallas Downtown. I went because my friend is a massive fan but really enjoyed hearing about the house, why it was chosen, what happened to owners of the property and of course about the cast of Dallas. Woth the... Plenty of free parking and a nice gift shop. The guide showing us around was excellent and she explained in great detail the ranch and the house. She was dedicated to her job and was very well informed. The house was smaller than expected and much of the filming had not been done there. The room decor and layout was... More

I went because i was expecting a tour of a working ranch. They have about 4 horses and similar number of cattle and a larma. So unless you are really into the Dallas TV show and want to see the grounds give it a miss.

As an avid fan of Dallas I was overwhelmed to experience at first hand Southfork. It takes about 30 mins to get here from Downtown Dallas. We booked with Fun Dallas Tours who will take you there and pay the entrance fee for c $50. The pre-house museum is a little faded and inside the house is a little dull... More

I was dragged there by my passionate wife. She was glued to DALLAS the TV series in the 80's. Well wort the trip. A $60 cab fare from downtown Dallas each way. The entry was another $15 per person. The guides were very well versed in their tour and added an adequate amount of humour with good clear historical facts.... More

I enjoyed my time at the Southfork Ranch. If you're a fan I can highly recommend to visit at least once. It's a nice trip since the Ranch is beautiful. You can get on a little tour and take as many pictures as you want. There are also two great gift shops and a Deli for a lunch break. It... More

we enjoyed our visit to Southfork Ranch. The price was reasonable and we looked around the museum which recounts some of the history,of,the show and its cast. We then went out and rode the tram around the ranch and over to the house. The house was neat. It was a bit smaller than I had envisioned. The history of the... More

The price I thought was reasonable. The tour guide was very informative! The best part in my opinion was after the tour of the house was over you were allowed to roam the grounds of the ranch for al long as you like! They also allow you to take as many pictures as you like! The house is so small... More

If you liked watching the series on TV back in the 80'ies, you will definitely like a visit to the Ewing ranch. Even though the majority of the show has been shot in a LA studio, the house has been re-decorated to reflect how it looked like on TV. You can freely walk around and have a look at the... More
