Packed all my wakeboarding gear and took it to Texas on Vacation from NC hoping to do a little Wake-ation, but was a bit disappointed in the cable park. The pull was nice, but the rails are not the best. After riding OWC so much and the new UNIT rails, TSR was a dissappointment. Did not go back for following... More

Has several fun opportunities other than water skiing. We took a helicopter ride to Canyon Lake, and it was just wonderful. More

The Texas Ski Ranch quite literally has a place for everyone to be entertained! I had my very first wakeboarding experience on the cable lake at TSR. I was quite obviously not a pro of any sort, but the cable operators were, and continue to be extremely friendly and helpful, which made my first wakeboarding experience two summers ago much... More

You can pass on this over priced place unless you are really into skateboarding. The do have a really nice skatepark and its a good place to wakeboard if the creek is not all dried up. More

Texas Ski Ranch is an awesome place to visit, and the restaurant upstairs has absolutely delicious food, great service, and great view of the ski lake. The ski/surf shop is up there with anything on the coasts. The two cable lakes have excellent and patient instructors. Highly recommend!! More

We booked for 6:50pm lesson, our instructor Wes was great overall. By the second pull on the cable was was up... More

We visit TSR several times each year, weekly (or more) in the summer. My kids love this place!!!!!! I bring my computer and catch up on e-mail - TSR has WiFi inside and out! The kids like to compete in the Thursday Night showdowns in the summer, even though they are still considered beginners, it is a big deal for... More

We visited New Braunfels from Oklahoma and on a whim decided to stop in. We have been vacationing in Texas for years and enjoyed Schlitterbahn, the rivers and Gruene...maybe even over-enjoyed it. We needed something different. So we planned a day at the Texas Ski Ranch and then a night at the outlet malls in San Marcos. Little did we... More

I visited the Ski Ranch for their Febrauary Freezeride event. Contrary to what I would have thought, in the middle of the winter there were a ton of people flocking to the beach to watch the watersports! My kids loved the free skating at the skatepark and became members of their skate club. The Boardshop featured great, quality items that... More
