This is the world famous Snake Farm as immortalized in the Ray Wylie Hubbard song. This place can get a little funky but if that doesn't bother you they do have an impressive assortment of reptiles and is definitely a unique experience. If a cleaner zoo experience is what you're looking for, the San Antonio Zoo is right down the... More

This is a great place for a visit with the family. Very impressive and well worth the money. My family was visiting New Braunfels and found this place on online and decided to give it a try. The collection of snakes is very cool. They have a nice little zoo area also. You can observe the animals very closely. Very... More

My kids love this place! It has a petting zoo, animal lectures and hands on learning. They are always expanding and adding new animals. You can tell they love animals and they are well-treated.

My family and I had a nice couple hours at the Snake Farm. We arrived when the park opened. Indoors has a nice gift shop and a vast array of exotic snakes and other reptiles. The venomous snakes were ranked for how venomous they are. Also they have all of the local Texas snakes which was nice to show my... More

We have been coming to this place for 16 years and it just keeps getting better. What started as a really big snake collection has now expanded to have a fairly large outside animal area. The animal exhibits allow you to get very close and personal. This visit it was great to see how many shows and presentation they now... More

Really enjoyed this place. They have a wide variety of animals- mountain lions, hyenas, white lions, capybara, peacock, lemurs, otters, petting zoo- and of course tons of snakes! Brought our nine year old boys and we all enjoyed it. Fun way to spend an hour.

I do NOT like snakes, however, this is a cool place to go. I did work up the nerve to hold a small python and enjoyed seeing the rest of the animals located there. A must see for young and old alike!

SSSSSSSnakes!!!!!! This was a great stop. Brought my grandchildren here as a final stop before heading home from Nana Camp. I am all about making great memories with my G-kids before I am too old to enjoy them. There were brand new baby goats, a llama (grandaughter collects stuffed llamas) and so many interesting animals. We all learned some new... More
