On first look you wouldn't think of stopping here. Looks a bit run down from the outside. But once you get past the front door, your hit with the sight of many variety of snake and reptile in the first room. Going out the back door your introduced to the rest of the animals. While I will admit, the grounds... More

The docents are excellent and you can get really close to animals. Petting zoo is great. White lions are amazing. Love it

We took some out of town guests on our first visit here and were pleasantly surprised to find a large outdoor area out back full of a wide variety of different animals. The barnyard type were very friendly and quickly gathered around for some feed. The more exotic (were obviously not roaming the grounds) but were a sight to see... More

This is a nice little zoo that has room to grow! We spent the morning here about one and a half hours! It is a very nice little zoo. Fun place to watch the animals and just relax. Little kids will love it! There is a petting zoo where you can feed the animals as well. I see good things... More

Visited with husband and 3 kids today. Overall staff was very unfriendly! Lady working the cash register didn't seem to want to interact with anyone. We were present for 2 animal interaction talks. My children asked questions about the albino python they brought out. Answers were not educational at ALL. My child asked if the snake would hurt someone in... More

We have been stopping at the snake farm as long as I can remember. Took our 10 And 6 year old grandsons today. They ( we) had a blast!!! Great collection of animals. My favorite was the monkey that has adopted a pet mouse. We watched it for a long time, so cute!! The mouse could get away at anytime.... More

Snakes, spiders, & crocs ohh my! Lots of animals to see. Went in the summer and it was HOT outside. If you go during the Texas summer (9 months of the year) go in the morning when it is not blazing. The petting zoo was just wild! Do not suggest unless you like being pounced on. Great for kids!!!

My family and I visited this place as it was local and seen a lot about it. I do have to say that I was surprisngly shocked to see everything behind the scenes. Aside from the large snake variety, this zoo also hosts a rather large Aligator pit, 6 jumbo tutrles, exotic birds, Lima's, two Hyena's, two wolf's, a buffalo,... More

We came to N.B. to visit another local attraction to celebrate the 1st birthday of their twin animals. Afterward we passed here & decided to try it. We loved it! This place was cheaper & had a lot more animal interaction. We fed: bearded dragons, goats, pigs, lama, goose, camel, zebra, horse. We saw: lots of snakes, baby lions, turtles,... More

This little zoo was a little expensive for what you got, but the kids I saw all seemed to love it. My 9 year old grandson loved the petting zoo as much as he did the animals and the horrid, smelly snakes! The cages for some of the animals seemed a bit too much - two or three layers of... More
