I've taken friends from Manhattan and DFW there for the casual wine tastings. The people who work there are really personable and make the experience particularly fun. And the wines aren't half-bad either! There is also a small souvenir shop and, of course, bottles of wine for sale. Tastings are about $1 apiece. About 8 miles west of Loop 337... More

Franklin Houser is one of the finest most wonderful people we have ever met and has so enhanced our wine knowledge. His dedication to making excellent Texas wines is most impressive. The special events at the vineyard are so much fun. More

A great place to spend some time on a Saturday. They offer everything from a very informative tour that includes tastings to sampling their selections of wine and excellent sangria! During the fall they have some live music to enjoy while sitting either under their patio fan or the massive live oaks that line the creek and sampling wines. More

Dry Comal Creek is MY Go To vineyard. It is only 7 miles from my house and the wines and its environment lends itself to be a place to just hang out with a glass of their wine, as well as doing their wine tastings. More

This is a fun stop. This is a relatively new Vineyard, but they have a large selection of wine, often made with grapes from other regions. The wine is not cheap, but the tasting is well worth the investment and on a hot Texas Day, the Sangria's are just what you will want to enjoy. Also a small gift shop More

We stopped by a few days before Christmas this year for a tasting. I am a wine person but by no means a wine expert. Just a girl that knows what she likes! We decided to do the full tasting and are glad we did! My fiance is not usually a wine drinker but I think Dry Comal has turned... More
