Relaxing day

Beautiful place to spend the day. Nice scenery and lots to do. Swim, hike, picnic, ride the train , feed the ducks and fish are all things our family have enjoyed doing there.

We really enjoyed Landa Park. It is a beautiful park where the Comal river runs through. Took the wife out on the river for a paddle boat ride. The river is crystal clear. Then took the minature train around the park. The Comal river is beautiful. The city has done an outstanding job.

An attractive green park in easy reach of the town center. Picnic tables, at least some in the shade. In season you can watch people tubing through on the river and using the "tube shoot". I even saw somebody snorkeling. It was hard to find free parking.

Loved feeding the deer, great place to walk around and explore with young kids. People are friendly. Close to places to eat.

Absolutely best stop of our family vacation this summer. Kids had a blast with multiple things to do while parents sat back and relaxed. Swimming, train ride and fed the ducks are just a few of the family memories made. would highly recommend a family stop and will be going again.

Took a group of 30 ranging in age from 11 months to 70 years old and everyone enjoyed themselves. We went on a Wednesday and got there early enough to figure out parking as well as the picnic table situation. I called their local parks and recs office and the woman was very helpful in explaining that the tables were... More

This is a great place we visited 3 times! There is a train that goes through the park and will drop you off and pick you back up if you keep your ticket stub! Icy cold Comal spring water to splash around in - several wading pools and creeks. Tons of fat ducks to feed. City swimming pool in park... More

Huge playgrounds, huge shade trees, crystal-clear spring-fed swimming and wading pools, ducks, glass-bottom and paddle boat rides, train ride, hiking, fishing, miniature golf, grills - this park has it all!

We went to Landa Park to swim. There is a spring fed public pool there with a rope swing, an obstacle course, and a huge slide. There is also a section for small kids. The grandkids really enjoyed themselves here. There is also another pool that is chlorinated.
