Fun rides, better than Schlitterbahn Galveston, expect crowds

We visited on a Sunday and while it was crowded, it was tolerable. The longest we waited was 45 minutes and that was for Master Blaster, which was totally worth it. We enjoyed... read more

We spent the day on July 4th at the waterpark. While its not my first time i'm not sure if it will be my last. We got there early and they let us in. The workers looked very confused as to whether or not to let us go find lounge chairs as it was only 9:15am and the park doesn't... More

Very well-managed park, everything runs smooth, lines are reasonable. Tubin' creek flows all around the park and you can jump in or out anyplace you like. You can even take a tube from the hotel to the innards of the park.

We recently moved back to Texas and promised our son we would take him for a weekend visit to Schlitterbahn New Braunfels to celebrate. Unfortunately we were all disappointed by the rudeness of the staff. It was clear the kids that work here are not happy. We were expecting Texas hospitality and received just the opposite. Another turn off was... More

Let's start off with I have been waiting for two days for the office to call me back regarding improper training for life gaurds. I was there 7/3/2015 and I witnessed two near drowning with children under two years old. One lifeguard saw the struggle but did not jump in, her father was having difficulty trying to grip on to... We visited on a Sunday and while it was crowded, it was tolerable. The longest we waited was 45 minutes and that was for Master Blaster, which was totally worth it. We enjoyed East more than West (old park). Black Knight was great, Torrent River was fun, lazy river in old park was freezing cold, and we ended up getting... More

Went here for the Fourth. Yes it's crowded but they open early to handle everyone. The older side is better for big crowds as the lines are long but once you get in the float it is a good 15 - 20 minutes rather than the quick fast rides. Bring in picnic supplies and stake out a picnic table that... More

One of our primary reasons for visiting Hill Country...loved the amount of exciting rivers they had. We're not into the big, scary rides so this was perfect. We went on all the rides. The Hill one that goes down the side of the castle is definitely a butt bumper. I love how much variety in all the tube rivers and... More

We got there at 10:30 and left at 8...and managed to ride 4 rides due to the HORRIBLY LONG LINES. Oh my god we spent 200 bucks for 4 people to get in and only got to ride 4 things. It was RIDICULOUS. We spent the whole freaking day standing in lines. VERY disappointed. We rarely get a vacation in... More

We live about 20 minutes from Schlitterbahn and decided to buy season passes for this summer. We figured that by going at least 5 times, we would have a good deal. Boy, were we right!!! We have already visited the water park 7 or 8 times this summer, and we have had a blast. The old park has Raging River,... More

This is absolutely the best water park ever. We have been 4 times in the past 10 years. My husband and I love it as much as our kids. There are slides for all ages. The park is family friendly, has free parking and allows you to bring in your own food. The park is clean and well kept. This... More
