The best shows I have ever seen are in Playa las Americas with Carmen Mota. I am not a novice in theater. I've seen the Bolshoi many times, Phantom with the original cast, and the last three Tony Awards winners on Broadway. In my more than 60 years of theater going I have never seen better shows than Carmen Mota... More

I am a fan of the ballet of Carmen Mota. I saw different shows the past years. Fuego (in Holland), went to Mallorca (Son a Mar), Evolucion. On the 16th of April we had tickets for Malizia. As expected it as a wonderfull show. But I am afraid that the way de show is organised this will be one of... More

I am in theatre's all the time in my home town so was very pleasantly surprised when I walked in here and became absolutely speechless. Everything about it was stunning, from the moment you walked in. The theatre itself was large but, unfortunately, not full which was a shame because the show was an absolute treat. The dancing was incredible... More

The story was difficult to follow and did not seem to stick too closely to Rigaletto, but who cares as the dancing was fantastic. There is a large cast and all are excellent. The costumes are first class. The tenor is very good and keeps the show into some semblance of Rigaletto Pity the audience was so small, the show... More

Its not normally the thing we would do on holiday but we thought we'd give it a try after seeing the video clips outside the theatre. Wow, are we glad we went! Its a fantastic, energetic flemenco style operatic show, which is breathtaking in parts! We are not opera fans, nor do we speak Spanish, but such is the storytelling... More

Malizia is an adaptation of Rigoletto, Verdi's tragic opera from which the well-known "La Donna e mobile" comes. Now set in Seville, it is a curious melange of opera, flamenco, hip-hop, modern stage dance, Stomp! and everything under the sun. It may sound strange, but the combination works to make an attractive show. As the performance shifts between different genres,... More

Dear Paul, Thanks a lot for your comments, as you said, this show is a melange of opera, flamenco, hip-hop, modern stage dance, but the combination works to make an attractive show. We agree with you that the passion of the performance and the standard of the individual sequences make it stand out. Very best regards, More

We saw MALIZIA last month at Pyramid de Arona and it was fantastic! Beyond the glitzy exterior, which evokes memories of Las Vegas, the interior theater is simple, comfortable and the performance was excellent! It is refreshing to support the arts along this commercial strip. It reminds you that you're in SPAIN and it is wonderful.

Visited the above to watch MALIZIA a show supposedly based on Rigoletto. Sadly because the show was in Spanish (what did I expect), I found it difficult to understand, BUT the dance display, Spanish Flamenco, was fantastic. The dance set by the male lead was beyond belief, how he had his feet left on his legs by the time he... More

One of the best shows we have seen anywhere including London and Broadway. Superb performances and skilled musicians. We loved the theatre itself, which sadly, was not full. The Diamond seats provided a wonderful view, with armchair luxury - well worth the extra cost. Annette looked after us like were her personal guests. Anyone who has been to theatre in... More

Went to see Malizia, and we weren't sure what to expect. The show was very entertaining, and there is no need to understand Spanish in order to enjoy it. The dancing is fantastic, and the story captures the audience attention. The tickets are very expensive, and this is the one major drawback.
