The title says it all. As I understand it, this area used to be the hotspot for young people who wanted to party. It seems that it hasn't been updated in years and it's now simply just full of crooks. The beach itself is no better than any other beach and the shops and bars are only tourist traps that... More

For the young and nubile not for me - drugs galore - parties galore and tacky shops - better during the day but I really didn't like this place at all

Being there around 2 pm so there were not much people but it looked like a bunch of shops in the chernobyl exclusion zone. Everything looks like it it built in the eighties and nothing was done to maintain it ever since. The eighties called, they want their town back...

The bar promotors set the tone here, not all of them but most. The Kasbah has a few bars, The promotors hound you, one after the other, even if your just going for a walk. It's very hard not to be rude to them. i will start with Dolce. The promotors give you a load of chit chat about happy... More

We made a visit to the Kasbah as the weather was cool and couldn't believe how run down it has become. Many shops were closed and very few people were visiting making it a very unreal atmosphere. Not very long ago it was bustling and busy but the visitors seem to have deserted it.

Excellent facility the dancing was brilliant with exceptional talent. Well recommended. There was a good variety of music to dance to,and the organist would play any request you asked for.

Fancied a look at this place by day as most of the reviews are shocking by night. Was dead dirty and the few bars around didnt have a good atmosphere. We stopped in a place called little brazil for a drink n food about 10.30am. Was busy and food was ok. Wont be back here as not a patch on... More

Good food at restaurant which overlooks open air music/dancing area. Irish bar great for a fun night out, excellent drinks prices.

It's pretty dead during the day and a lot of things are closed. It picks up a lot in the evening, but by night it has various dodgy characters hanging around, probably pickpockets or those looking to exploit drunks. There are also a few prostitutes around after midnight.
