But very long wait for rides at least 45 mins and height restrictions quite strict which meant my 8 year old couldn't get on any of the big roller coasters. Little shade in queues and drinks pricey as you would expect. Ice age ride bit disappointing but generally a good day out.

We enjoyed a fantastic day at Portaventura. We have enjoyed numerous holidays to Florida and have visited all the major theme parks including Universal. We did not expect Portaventura to in anyway come close to matching the parks in Florida but can confidently say we were very impressed by the high standards, quality, cleanliness and attention to detail at Portaventura, definately... We visited Portaventura with our two daughters using two day tickets. The first day, we arrived around 10:30 but quickly realised that it was just too hot for us to stay for long. It was 35C in the shade and standing out in the sunshine in the queues was too much for us. We visited the Ice Age ride and... More

Been here 3 times now. Great place for all the family. Only thing I would say is go high season when waterpark and all the restaurants and entertainment are on.

You must go to this park! Is is a brilliant place with lots to do and see! It's jam-packed with rides, shows and shops and restaurants!!! Totally worth flying two hours on a plane for! I've been to Salou twice before (2009 and 2012), and I STILL enjoy it! It's the best holiday you'll ever go on!

This is a great day out for all the family. The park is set in all different themes. Western world, China Town to name a couple. There are loads of places to eat and drink on the way round, although it is a bit pricey. Always best to get the huge drinks as you can refill them all the way... More

Brilliant theme park. Better than anything in the UK. It was hard work queuing through the midday heat so definitely worth a visit on an evening. Shambhala and Dragon Khan rides rival the best of the Florida parks.

Rollercoaster heaven. We took then fast lane max gold and that saves you a LOT of time. Each attraction with a fast lane takes max 10 minutes to be off and spinning. Our kids could do easily 15 attraction in a day. If you have only one day consider it but is will cost. 45 euro entry plus 32 euro... More

Got tickets through my hotel - buy one day go back next day free! 1st day Sunday. Queues not too bad getting in. Once in we went straight to Furious Baco - 135km in 3 sec!! Waited over 30min but is one of the main attractions here. Got front seats and was able to buy a video of our entire... More
