The best butterfly park I've ever been to....... and I've been to a few. The Staff are brilliant and helpful and if a butterfly is hatching they let everyone know so you can watch. On the road to Mijas from Benalmadena, 121 bus to Mijas takes you there, also next to the park is a large new Buddhist Temple worth... More

This was a place you could spend the day. You were allowed to go out and re-enter all day. There was a talk on the hour by the rangers. Very interesting saw wallabies, iguanas tortoises and of course butterflies

We had a really nice visit at the butterfly park. You can easily spend 1+ hours inside the large tropic house among the 1000+ various butterflies. For 10 Euro's per person it's a real bargain as well. Be sure to stick around for the hourly presentation (both in spanish and english). All in all a very enjoyable visit that I... More

The park is much smaller than I imagined it would be but it was still worth the money. The garden itself was beautiful and it was lovely to see such beautiful butterflys flying around and sometimes landing on you. Staff were excellent and happy to give you as much information as you wanted. I learned a great deal during this... More

The butterflies are really beautiful, lots of different species. If you look closely you can see the caterpillars and a tortoise amongst the leaves. Our young children were given an activity sheet to find the different butterflies. This helped to keep them occupied for much longer, we spent around an hour and walked around a few times. The children were... More

It's basically a big greenhouse, they host about 1600 butterflies, all tropical. Inside it's 25-28 degrees always, and you walk among the butterflies. It is a good thing they give the kids a sheet with butterflies to find, it gives you something to do. You won't spend very long there, but it is a nice add to your day.

An intriguing place to visit, full of the natural history relating to the butterfly. Exhibits both live and static are most educational. Species of butterfly are amazing and a few interesting mammals to boot. An inexpensive visit which most adults and children are sure to enjoy. Also it easily accessible and with adequate parking nearby.
