Great area for Skiing/Snowboarding, quaint little town with very few shops and bars - Scotties being the best English bar with lovely food and a great après ski atmosphere! You can also get the cable car up to Aime for more shopping and restaurant's and the ice skating rink. Nearby there is bobsleigh, paraskiing and lots of things to do.... More

I can't ski and are so afraid of skiing it was a miracle that I even decided to go. But after my first time in La Plagne Ski Resort I fell in love with skiing. The pistes are amazing and you can even go to the top of one of the mountains and manage your way down on only blue... More

Just back from a great week skiing in La Plagne,Les Arcs mountain area. Our chalet group was excellent and the Inghams chalet hosts superb(excellent food, very friendly). We vowed after, staying in an Inghams chalet(Julian)in les arcs last year that we would not use the company again. However,we got a deal with a couple of weeks to go and took a chance... More

Great open slopes but some blue runs had sections maybe a bit steep for beginners. Also blue runs that had red/black runs running into them could get a bit crowded with decent skiers not giving you much space and 'buzzing' you. Nightlife not great, club in Belle Plagne is open til 5am but some nights was completely empty.

Stayed here for a week in late March. Conditions were great although slushy towards the end of the week. Lift systems worked well, we never had any queues to contend with and the runs were well groomed. Its brilliant for beginners. We did the whole week on blue runs and only started on the reds towards the very end. Great... More

I stayed in Plagne Centre - it was a good location to access the skiing but the main lifts were very busy - it was the 1st week of March which I think was some sort of French school holidays - but one more than one occasion we queued for nearly an hour. Long wide blues great for beginers and... More

The ski area is very large and linked to Les Arcs by a giant double decker cable car. There are a lot of ling blue and red runs that cater for intermediates and beginners. The mountain restaurants are generally good and well spaced out. My wife, who likes the green runs of Courchevel found the skiing in and out of... More
